Lovely pub with one major flaw. The "new" menu is dreadful. Used to be able to get a Sunday roast, lasagne and other pasta- all gone. Lots of regulars - and the staff - complaining about the menu forced on them by Green and King. After last meal have been in bed for 3 days ill . Come on Green King change the menu back to a more palatable choice.

Had Sunday lunch while watching football, excellent value, food and beer with a good atmosphere. Staff are very attentive and friendly. Highly recommended.
Came with family for an afternoon drink, the swan is more than pleasant, the bar staff were brilliant and the drinks are cheap. We brought a dog that was absolutely welcome. A special thank you to Callum who brought christmas presents (chocolate selections) over to the kids not long after we sat down and it made their day! We’ll be coming back again… Thank you!!

Nice little pub with good sized car park at rear.Had a nice Saturday afternoon meal, some hiccups with food availability and cooking of items but staff extremely apologetic and compensated us accordingly.Very pleasant and nice atmosphere.Parking: Parking accessed to left hand side of pub (as you look at it).To the opposite side (right hand side) are private flats and although if you do enter by mistake (as we did) the space to turn around in their carpark is limited so take this into account.

Visited this pub for some lunch with my partner and as always, the food was outstanding! Had the hunters chicken from the pub classics section and enjoyed every bite. The staff are always friendly and welcoming, never had a bad experience here it’s a polite friendly establishment. I highly recommend this pub for a meal out or just a chilled drink with mates :)
