I used to live in cheddington and now a good mate has moved close by.30 years ago the Swan was a picturesque pub, today it's a marvellous welcoming local. Love it.

You have to book to eat here. Pub side is quite small and the tables are packed together. Staff should be more

This is a good pub, within the limitations of its vintage architecture. No frills, good value, nice atmosphere.

I've been here two times in total now, both with mates. It's a very small and cozy pub and the staff are very welcoming. Food is top quality especially their steak and chips.

Had a cheese burger, good meaty patty and nice chips. Pint of local Tring Brewery T Bar.. efficient service and all round good experience. Would recommend!

I have visited The Old Swan on many occasions, Sunday lunches, quick lunch breaks, large group bookings with my work colleagues, etc. and I have never been disappointed with the food or the service by all the staff at The Old Swan.Today I visited for lunch as a group of 4, I often have a burger of some kind as they never disappoint but today I thought I would try something different and I was so glad I did.I had the Moroccan spiced pulled lamb on a homemade flatbread with truffle and Parmesan fries and wow it was amazing.Presentation was 10/10 and the food tasted even better than it looked. Thanks again for another amazing meal!

Classic pub grub in a lovely pub setting. The garden is nice. Had the pie and chips, all home made.

We went for Sunday lunch, and it was faultless. Two of us had the lamb, and one had chicken. Everything on the plate was spot on, they absolutely nailed it. The service was also faultless We will go again!

The atmosphere and the staff were absolutely lovely but our food was quite expensive and quite bland

I am sitting , having just eaten the best roast dinner for miles. My beef was pink and succulent. The toast potatoes sublime. My husband is a potato connoisseur and he says the best . There was a good choice of wine . Staff lovely, with the right level of attentiveness.
