We were served by Jonty, who was friendly and welcoming. Food was lovely and we had a nice time. I ate the beef and bone marrow burger, the fish cake and the truffles and enjoyed them all thoroughly. Will be back ?

Lovely lock side pub with friendly staff, I had breakfast and a coffee, whilst on my fishing adventures. The breakfast was served in goof time, the food was cooked very well. The coffee was well, it was coffee.. a great place to stop for a bite on a cold day. Thank you ?

Came for lunch on Wednesday. It was nice to come to a pub and be treated with respect and good service from the waitress Kayleigh. Service with a smile is always nice.

We had our Christmas lunch as a team at the Three Locks yesterday. The food was the best I’ve ever had for a Christmas lunch. And what a choice for the vegan and vegetarian members of the team! The staff were attentive the service was amazing and we had a great time. The venue right next to the canal with the barges and boats ambling by is delightful. A truly special place to eat and enjoy the friendly atmosphere with colleagues. We’ll find a reason to return soon…Thanks to the three locks staff team for a memorable day.

Friendly staff and nice food. Ate in the bar but was offered the restaurant as well. Great way of spending a few hours watching the canal boats going through the locks.

Very cozy pub right next to the canal. We went through the locks and moored the boat nearby. Being vegan, we expected to be faced with the same frozen veg patty everyone seems to have, but couldn't have been more wrong! They have a number of freshly-made vegan options that all sounded delicious. We started with red pepper hummus with warm flat bread, which was fresh and tasty. We had the vegan pot pies, which were delicious, with a crispy freshly-baked crust. They came with some of the best chips we've had in months, and a side of green beans, broccoli, and peas, and a pot of gravy. They offer intriguing sounding vegan deserts as well, but we were both stuffed, so maybe another time. Everyone working there was pleasant, and seemed to be genuinely happy. I heard my praise for the food immediately passed along to the chef, which was gratifying. The server was friendly, attentive, and helpfully recommended the pie when told we were vegan. On the way out, I spoke to a very cordial gentleman who I assume was the manager, and told him how much we appreciated the vegan selections, and how good everything was. I'm posting photos of their current menu, along with their extraordinary holiday menus (including lots of good vegan options for all the courses!). Highly recommended, by a couple of damp, cold boaters in out of the rain!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Three Lock Place and Pub, and it was nothing short of amazing! This charming location offers a unique experience where you can witness small boats passing through the locks, creating a picturesque setting. The people in and around the place are incredibly friendly, adding to the welcoming atmosphere. One of the highlights of this place is the traditional pub, which beautifully reflects the memories of the past while seamlessly blending in a touch of modernity. During our visit a couple of months ago, we were truly impressed with the food. We ordered both vegetarian and vegan dishes, and they were all up to the mark in terms of quality, quantity, taste and presentation. What made our visit even more memorable was the exceptional staff. Everyone was friendly and accommodating, and the chef's culinary skills were nothing short of fantastic. The entire experience at Three Lock Place and Pub left us feeling content and satisfied. We can't wait to return to this wonderful establishment. The combination of delicious food, a picturesque location, and a friendly atmosphere makes it a must-visit. ??️?

Food was really nice. I had red pepper hummus, calamari and olives to start with then fish and chips for the main. The calamari was crispy and cooked perfectly, the artisan breads were nice and had a nice stone baked flavour to them. The portions were a good size, the only downside were the chips which I felt maybe they could do with some work or a new supplier for them. The fish however was tasty and perfect. We finished with a flat white which was top notch. The service was incredible, our waiter was friendly and welcoming and his product knowledge was really good. He also a couple times made sure that we didn’t have any allergies which i thought was reassuring.

What a lovely surprise. I hadn't visited this pub in over 10 years and the place is unrecognisable to what I remembered. We had Sunday lunch and everything was perfect. Would highly recommend it. The service we received from Emma the waitress was also top notch. Thanks Three Locks will be back with friends soon!
