“A group of four of us called in for lunch.
Plenty of parking. We were welcomed in a offered a choice of rooms to be seated.
All the staff were very pleasant and accommodating.
Good choice of drinks and the food was fantastic.
We sat in the front seating area which was bright and good for watching the goings on in the town. There are back rooms that offered a quieter experience and plenty of covered garden areas.
We fully intend to return in the near future.”

“Absolutely great food and friendly helpful staff, they had run out of the chicken tenders so the chef, who we have become friendly with went out of his way to make some for us. And they were the best chicken tenders me and my wife have ever had. Would highly recommend this pub to anyone its our favourite local.”

“Stayed in one of the rooms at the rear of the pub. After a late night out we returned to get ready for bed. I sat on the bed and sunk down to the floor as the bed base was broken. We couldn't go and tell the owners as the pub was shut. We left early in the morning and the place was in darkness so we couldn't speak to the landlord. Iys £75 a night and to be honest its well over priced. Pub is good but the rooms leave a lot to be desired.”
