We went here for Sunday lunch and it was lovely, Will our server was polite, warm and friendly, but not overly invasive as in some establishments can be.He never stopped bless him, I would have him on my payroll in a heartbeat.The food was lovely, and the service good.You had sufficient time between courses, but didn't wait too long either, a good balance considering they were fully booked and very busy.I like the fact that the staff have a smart, casual uniform as you can locate...read full review

Love the new owners love how relaxed I now feel in there which I didn't before and OMG you have to try the food it's out of this world good home made food at honest prices too what more could you want eh ?

My room was basic but very comfortable, warm and convenient, The staff was very efficient and friendly, adding to the positive feeling I had, The food was excellent - curry for dinner one night and excellent breakfasts both days, another plus is the location, Easy to find and convenient to Thirsk,
