Golden Lion in Clifton.Set in a quaint village. Food was what you'd expect in a pub - tasty and reasonably priced. Good size helpings. I had the three bean chilli which came with garlic bread, rice and chips. My partner had the chicken breast yorkie wrap.... chicken and stuffing wrapped in a Yorkshire pud (like a spring roll).It wasn't warm enough to sit out in their garden which was a shame.Staff are lovely and very friendly.

Love this friendly clean and tidy pub. Excellent food, good prices especially on offer days. Large family garden with a play area for younger people. Pool table under a shelter. Give it a try. I am sure you will not be disappointed.

I had cod & chips which was just under £15, it was nice. Seating inside & out. Limited parking outside, food is nice service good.Kid-friendliness: There is a large garden suitable for children which looks safe

Been here a few times and it’s a great cheap and cheerful local. The food is good for what you pay and the portions are very generous. Staff are friendly and attentive and service has always been quick. The garden is massive. Really good for families.
