An excellent dinner on a Monday night. The restaurant wasn’t too busy. The service was good, the menu was varied (including the blackboard specials), and the food was delicious. I had the sea bass, which was moist and beautifully cooked, with a crispy fresh salad and a mound of crushed new potatoes (too many to eat). As you can see all five star for food, service and atmosphere and we had the oap meal with desert. The down side was the wine glasses, size,type and condition. The condition concerned me most , they've been washed so many times they are in urgent need of being replaced. Well passed user date. Will use pub again but take my own glass.Brian Butcher.

We met our friends for a Christmas Lunch, choosing Henlow as half way between our homes. The atmosphere was warm and cosy, the staff very friendly and the food very tasty. It was the Set Meal, plenty of food without overdoing it, served hot and each course in good time. A good value delicious meal enjoyed by all of us. We will consider returning for another meet up in the New Year.
