Great breakfast, and welcoming staff.Been there again today with a colleague. Was pleased to find as high a level of service, and food quality as previously experienced. Forget Baldock Services whether it's a sandwich or Sunday lunch you will not be disappointed. A small restaurant fighting back against corporate benileity, that needs our support, because when they're gone, they're gone, and it will be our fault.

Well, to be said, on the side of a hotel, they have taken the chance to up the prices of almost every possible chance. The food is okay at best, but £36 for two breakfast and drinks is a lot harder to swallow than the

Took my hubby for a birthday meal, staff were fabulous , food was perfect and they made a real effort to make him feel special. Very relaxed atmosphere and extremely clean. Great value for money and would definitely recommend!

Very impressed from the moment we stepped in to the moment we left. Excellent value for money, the food was perfect and the service was great. A good selection of food. We will definitely be coming back.

arrived for a 3pm reservation, by half 3 we’re still waiting for drinks orders to be taken & by 4:30 we was still waiting for food to come out. roast dinner wasn’t the best but for the price was ok. cheap & cheerful, service was just very slow, but again this could be because it was a sunday (wasn’t overly busy though)

Had a flat tyre typical monday morning. I must say for a cafe on the a1 there food and customer service is outstanding. My breakfast was one of the best and the bacon was cooked to perfection.

Long wait for food.Partners food served and eaten before mine arrived (or didn't as taken to wrong table and then taken away and given to me)2 items wrong on breakfast, so waited again.Used gent's toilet. Cubicle fithy (picture below).Told staff, but no action was taken before we left.Also, there was an entrance to the side of the bar area, which appeared to be a dumping area.Loaves of bread scattered about on side.

Had the best roast dinner today and sticky toffee pudding, ice cream .Wholesome home cooked food and lovely welcoming Ladies serving/cooking. Round of Applause....Always great to go to Coteys and look forward to the Events they are putting on....!
