Lovely Sunday lunch with the family. Great service from the staff, and delicious food. Fab roasts with all the trimmings and a really well done sticky toffee pudding to finish. What’s not to like? ?

Long wait for food (approx an hour) despite being told it would be 20 minutes when we ordered. 3 Burgers all good and the Hake & Chips ok too but the Steak and Ale Pie came out a few minutes later and was frozen inside. The staff were not particularly sorry, offered to heat it up and give us money back on that meal and a free drink, but we’d had enough of waiting by then and left very disappointed.

So good! We all had the Smokey burger and it was on point! Freshly made so was worth the little wait, thanks so much, we can’t wait to return for more of the same :-) xx
Met friends here for dinner & few drinks. A variety of food was ordered & we asked for a camembert to come out before the mains. Unfortunately some of the group had eaten mains before the starter came out. Food was delicious but the rugby platter was definately not worth the money. Would go back again but avoid the platter as very expensive for what you get

Stumbled across this place the evening , and what a pleasure ! It was sooo nice to walk into a busy pub with a lovely atmosphere! Ordered the smoky burger ? and it was amazing ! We will definately be back Staff are very attentive and welcoming x
