High St, Sunninghill, AscotWe booked a table based on trip advisor reviews but were slightly hesitant when the restaurant appeared quite quiet when we arrived. However, as we ordered and started the restaurant soon filled. We had a starter and main each and some sides. The food was lovely and there were some different choices to what we are used to at home. The service was faultless, and there was a good atmosphere in the restaurant. I would 100% recommend and return here again.

London Rd, Sunninghill, AscotSecond time we have visited, first time was about 18months ago and again it didn't disappoint. I am gluten-free, which was mentioned at time of booking. I didnt need to remind them as they greeted us warmly and acknowledged my dietary requirement on arrival. When given the menu I was straight away advised about what options were available to me. The options meant all but one starter and one main couldn't be adapted which was amazing. Will most definitely be coming back again.

2 Upper Village Rd, Sunninghill, AscotIm dropping a 5 purely for the fact that they have Belhaven Black on here, a welcome change from Guinness that is so ubiquitous. Friendly welcome and a nice vibe too on a Tuesday lunchtime for a birthday pint, will certainly be back again for a few more.

Cheapside Rd, AscotWe booked Sunday lunch as a big family group of 12 for a birthday treat. We were delighted to have been surprised with a private room in this gorgeous characterful pub. The staff were so kind, friendly and helpful. The food was absolutely delicious; from soup, to burgers to a full Sunday roast! I wish this was our local pub so we could visit all the time.Dietary restrictions: I’m coeliac and they were reassuring from the moment we booked in - all the gravy was gluten free and they even got gf Yorkshire puddings in for us!

London Rd, Sunninghill, AscotQuickly became our local favourite, the food never falls short of exceptional and the staff do more than take your order, its service is the a smile and I love the manager who occasionally sings out whilst weaving in between tables, it adds to the already incredible atmosphere. Love everything about this place! ♥️

Two bars at the pub - one side more drinking with a TV, but other larger area quiet for eating and sitting. Looks a bit unpromising from the outside and inside could do with some better lighting to make it a bit less stark. But friendliness and food makes up for that

Staff polite and very well mannered all smartly dressed.The event held here was very dissapointing as did not do the venue justice. Its a compact venue but the space has been well thought out in the planning. I would certainly go hear again. I can't comment on the food as did not eat at the venue this time around.

23 Silwood Rd, AscotThis evening 13th May 2023 I ordered my food after a long day in Essex at a football tournament. As always the fish and chips were well cooked, tasty and delicious. The tall young blonde man who served me was exceptionally warm and friendly. He gave me such a warm welcome with his friendliness, attention to detail and customer care. A true asset to this already excellent fish and chip shop!Thank you young man. ?

72 High St, AscotFantastic experience!My son -who only orders Bolognese in Italian restaurants- said that this was the best so far.I was possibly too hungry and finished my lasagne too soon, I felt that I had to order a pizza too? The pizza base was thin and the crust was very yummy. The whole family was very satisfied.Highly recommended!

63 High St, AscotHaving been at the Stag many times over the past few years, it always maintain its pleasant staff, ambience and good food. As pub food goes, this is marvellous and reasonably priced. The rear outdoor beer garden is a brilliant setting on a hot summer day or even on a colder day as they have sheltered area. It is also a dog friendly pub, which I genuinely love. I'm not a shareholder or have any reasons not to be sincere, but this is truly a little hidden gem when you visit Ascot. 10min walk from the station if you follow the road but I can recommend the "scenic" route which is 15min and goes straight through the green towards Ascot races.Parking: As the pub is on Ascot High Street there is not parking right outside. However, there is parking opposite and even better, use the Ascot races parking a little further away which shows a large "6". This is normally always available and just 1 min walk from the pub. However, don't expect the same availability when the races are on. Check in advance.

70 High St, Sunninghill, AscotClassic no frills kebabs and burgers - what you see is what you get. Prices are in line with what I'd expect these days. Will likely return. 1 star deducted however for serving burgers and chips in single use polystyrene cartons when dining in and no recycling option for cans.

We were served drinks upon entry while we waited, greeted very nicely. Discounted bill due to the wait without having to ask. Overall, Fantastic food and even better customer service. If you've never been here before please go amazing experience! Customer service and food is really something else. Amazing restaurant.
