“The lady was on her own at lunch with a lot to do but she kept calm and smiled throughout. Coffee #1 always does amazing coffee. The chai is fabulous too.”

“Always friendly and cheerful staff which is the highlight of this particular Costa.
The food is ok; you don't exactly expect a gourmet meal in Costa and my judgement is based on a one off purchase of a cheese and ham toasty as I was hungry while waiting to view a flat.
The atmosphere isn't up to much - just a chain cafe on the high street, nothing remarkable.”

“Huge credit to the staff in the separate little coffee shop at Membury services on M4. Very clean, good selection of food and drink on display, very helpful, pleasant staff, clean tables and clean toilet facilities.
Wheelchair accessibility: Good disabled parking right outside coffee shop. Clear level access and plenty of space with tables available. Clean disabled toilets”

“This is a cosy and quirky little tea room with tasty, classic tea room food. The staff are always lovely and friendly. Decor a bit dated but I find this adds to its charm.
There is always a display in the window relevant to what is going on at the time. For example, they recently had a Lego scene depicting the Paris 2024 Olympics to mark the occasion. I find this always puts a smile on my face as I walk past.
My absolute favourite aspect of The Tutti Pole is the ice cream hatch (my name for it) where you can ask a torso (you can never see the server's head ?) for an ice cream and they'll hand it to you through the little window, or hold it for you momentarily while you get your wallet out of your bag because if you are anything like me you cannot manage this with one hand while holding a whippy ice cream in the other, and then you can be on your merry way down the beautiful canal, or up the high street, enjoying a delicious ice cream. What a treat!”
