26-27 High St, HungerfordWe came here for lunch with our daughter and her friend for a little treat. What a beautiful place, set up stairs in what I would totally call cosy! We all had a panini & toasties for lunch with their amazing hot chocolates for the girls. We had 5* service from all the lovely staff. Massive thank you to Mandi for making our lunch experience extra special for the girls.

John O'Gaunt Inn
Bridge St, HungerfordOften meet in Hungerford as it's a convenient halfway house for a family meet up between West London and South Wales. We've visited the the John O Gaunt a few times now for lunch and a drink and have always found it to be reasonably priced, friendly and the food to be a decent quality. The roast meals are always very good. The pub has got a lot of history too. It also has a nice area for sitting out. I recommend it.

Down View, Park St, HungerfordI would especially recommend this pub for lunchtime and a drink, the menu has your usual pub food including jacket potato, sandwiches, soup, and main meals. It has a nice atmosphere inside, nice decor, can eat inside and outside. Right on the edge of the common with plenty of parking, not far to walk from the town centre either.

123 High St, HungerfordWe popped in here for breakfast a few weeks ago and it was a wonderful experience. It was super busy yet the waitress juggled it all fantastically. The food was delicious and we will definitely be back to try more that was on the menu.

The Tutti Pole
3 High St, HungerfordVisited 'The Tutti Pole' on a Sunday morning, when passing through Hungerford, to grab some breakfast / brunch. There were no open tables available in the cafe so I opted for a take-away bacon baguette. As bacon butties go it was very good, a nice fresh white baguette and a generous filling of quality bacon. Price was £6.75 and the customer service was friendly and efficient. The cafe is located right by the canal and so in a good spot for having refreshments before or after a walk by the waterway.

The Funghi Club
13 High St, HungerfordThe best restaurant in Hungerford. Won’t recommend any specific dishes because anything you order will be delicious, from starters to desserts to the signature funghi bun. There is a set menu, but main and dessert options change regularly. The seating inside is a bit cramped but there is a couple of tables outside.

Chilton Foliat, HungerfordWe had a great evening here. We were here with friends many years ago, but it was not a successful evening and now there is a new owner. The bathrooms are new and clean; the food is very tasty, fresh and nicely presented; staff very nice. Well done!!!!We really enjoyed our evening and we really recommend this pub!!!

Blandy's Bar and Bistro

They were serving a French set lunch menu and according to the residents that I spoke to the coq au vin and tarte tartin were mouth watering. Beautiful place, would definitely go back for a meal in the guest dining room.

As an escapee from the horror of the self-styled Great Western Railways (other adjectives are available) the owner's daughter restored my faith in humanity. It was very busy for a Monday evening because there were a lot of Christmas parties, but we still received excellent service from the young man who we believe is italian. The food as always was very good. My only negative comment would be that not all of our initial choices were available. This does seems to be a frequent issue. But I have to say this is not a big problem because there are quite a few options on the menu, and we were happy with our second choices.

The Dundas Arms

Louise was extremely accommodating and helpful, saving us from an uncertain evening. We had a delicious meal and decided to stay an extra night due to the lovely room and service. Very satisfied would stay again and recommend to others.

44 High St, HungerfordRead the reviews but thought I'd have lunch of fish n chips for lunch after a long drive. We'll the chps were crispy and a large portion. The fish was fresh white with lovely batter. I tried the pickled onions and gherkins and was not disappointed. I can honestly say that's the best fish n chips I've had in a long while. Guess I'm used to London offerings . The best bit was that it was cooked to order and piping hot. Gold star from me. Wish I had a local like that..

1, A4, HungerfordCame to this fuel station a few times. Sadly on this one occasion last week the system was going through a daily reset. The guy on the night hatch found the perfect solution as I was in a rush. He asked if I was ok to download the app and pay by pump. I agree and he helped me set it up. Filled up both cars and was off. Fantastic solution as normally on a weekend I have to wait for the person to come and authorities the pump which seems to take a while. All problems solved. :)
