Amore Italian Restaurant - Hungerford

Friendly staff.
Food was good. Not amazing but a nice meal, good portions and fairly priced.
Pizza was great. Nice size and full of toppings. Delicious crust.
Tortelloni was fun.
Deserts were quite bad though!
We ordered the assorted deserts for 2. The Tiramisu was dry, lacked any depth and drizzled with chocolate syrup which made it taste harsh.
There was some lemon cake, which was some bland cream with fake lemon syrup. Panna cotta was OK but drizzled with fake red syrup.
We'd happily come again but get dessert elsewhere.

The Tutti Pole
3 High St, HungerfordJust had a Mothers Day treat in this delightful warm and cosy cafe with my son. Superbly clean and tidy and lovely staff - and the little touch of the token cake for Mothers Day was really a sweet thing to do. Lovely people and business. Keep going and thank-you, you are a credit to Hungerford.

Bridge St, HungerfordWe chose here while waiting for Hilton Garage to decide how to fix the car they mislead us into viewing. All the staff and customers told us how unpopular Hiltons are with locals and how many upset people come to the pub. The staff were very cheerful and helpful. The menu was decent but a little expensive. I won't be going back as I, like many others would not return to Hilton Garage.

The Courtyard, 24 High St, HungerfordI recently visited Eliane’s and had a really nice experience. The café has a welcoming atmosphere and the staff were friendly and attentive. The food and coffee were both very good, and everything felt fresh and well prepared. It’s a lovely spot to stop for breakfast, lunch, or just a coffee if you’re in the area. I’d happily visit again.

113 High St, HungerfordIncredible Thai food. Service was amazing both in the restaurant and bar. One of the best meals we have had in a long time.
Dog friendly too and Bob our dog was treated as a celebrity. Great vibe in the bar area too. Genuinely would love to have this place as a local but we are just passing through. Thank you Diggee for the fab hospitality.

77 High St, HungerfordI love coming down to the Borough from Newbury! Staff and landlords are so friendly! Great size pub, with live music at weekends. Pizza is cooked to order. Beer garden is a great size! Easter hunt was put on by the landlord on Easter Sunday! Great vibes! Will be back soon!

Bright, clean ground floor with calm atmosphere.

Costa Coffee
119 High St, HungerfordCosta Hungerford is just the very best Costa anywhere. The staff are lovely, coffee is great, it's beautifully clean and there is always a smile and a warm greeting whenever I walk through the door. I visit every 3 weeks when I visit my mum and if I could move the whole place to where I live it would be amazing. Thank you to everyone who works in this store because you go the extra mile to make us all feel very special indeed.

13 High St, HungerfordSo glad we decided to pop in for an unplanned lunch. Food was excellent, could easily have been in France. Well priced, friendly service, good choice of food. We had 1 seafood crepe and 1 menu du jour which was ample for 2 for lunch. Worth booking, we were lucky, it got busy. It was a little cramped inside, but that was fine, and we had a good view of the high street. We'll be back. Merci!

Blandy's Bar and Bistro
Templeton Rd, Kintbury, HungerfordWe came for lunch here last weekend as a pair of couples each with a young child (13 months and 5 months). After lunch, our wives went into the spa next door and the Dads looked after the kids for the afternoon around Inglewood. All the staff were so lovely with us and the kids, and made us feel so welcome and relaxed. We were able to stay around the bar area for as much time as we wanted, and all the staff were amazing interacting with the little ones. A special mention to the young gentleman who was working in the bar area during the afternoon (sorry that I didn't catch his name) - he really went above and beyond to look after us and he was great with the kids. The food was also fantastic, and my wife said that the spa was great.

Location 8 out of 10. Ok, High Street with some parking.
Cost 7 out of 10. Little high for me at £4.20 for a large take out cappuccino.
Overall a solid 8.5 out of 10 the coffee was spot on.

Newtown, HungerfordNice popular community pub that has a varied menu at fair prices. A little out of Hungerford but well worth going to. Advise to book as we went on a Tuesday lunchtime and it didn't take long for all the tables to be occupied. That in itself must be a recommendation!

The Rice Bowl

I googled Chinese takeaways and the Rice Bowl was closest and being vegan I was so happy to see it had a vegan section! When I called up to order the lady was so friendly and helpful and she was lovely in person too. The food itself was delicious and everyone agreed. Definitely recommended and will be using next time we are down!

41 Charnham St, HungerfordI often eat here with family and friends. It was very busy for a Monday evening because there were a lot of Christmas parties, but we still received excellent service from the young man who we believe is italian. The food as always was very good. My only negative comment would be that not all of our initial choices were available. This does seems to be a frequent issue. But I have to say this is not a big problem because there are quite a few options on the menu, and we were happy with our second choices.

17 High St, HungerfordBit of a trek for me but i absolutely love their food. Especially the lamb pancakes with hoisin sauce. Only reason 4* for service was they forgot the sauce and pancake salad once didnt realise till got home 15 miles away, was gutted not the same without.
Was very busy at the time, they are very friendly and as said i absolutely love their food, highly recommend.
Also they do a single large crispy pancake roll and omg they are delicious, embarrassed to say i
eat this on the homeward trip each time.

41 Newbury St, Lambourn, HungerfordI recently ordered fish and chips from this restaurant and it was absolutely delicious! The fish was fresh and perfectly cooked, and the chips were crispy and tasty.
The staff were also very friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Great service and great food.

Salisbury Rd, HungerfordExcellent organic flour, ideal for bread, cakes and cookies. It's also especially good value if buying in bulk. The 25 kg bags last a good long while if you're a keen home baker. The ordering process and delivery are also well organized. Thanks.

44 High St, HungerfordHungerford really seems to be lacking a large quantity of food options on the main high street especially for lunch so myself and my partner decided to be naughty and have some chips as they open at 11:30
They did the job and £3.50 for a medium portion was decent nowadays, but they aren’t proper chip shop chips which is a massive shame, I’m surprised that a place like hungerford which must attract a high turnover of visitors has such a small establishment.
Also worth noting they only accept cash….shocker

M4 Motorway J14, 15, Membury, HungerfordI rarely leave reviews but me and my sister in law visited this Starbucks on a long road trip and we were served by Marie and she was an absolute angel!!
