Really awesome bistro food.

The best restaurant in Hungerford. Won’t recommend any specific dishes because anything you order will be delicious, from starters to desserts to the signature funghi bun. There is a set menu, but main and dessert options change regularly. The seating inside is a bit cramped but there is a couple of tables outside.

We stopped off in Hungerford today having had an appointment in Amesbury. What a joy it was having parked the car to find your wonderful bistro right there before us. Food was beautiful and as I left and walked up the street to browse the shops I felt like I had just had lunch in la belle France. ?? We live in Christchurch and boy could we do with such a wonderful addition to our sad high street. Many thanks for a wonderful experience and continued success to you both.

Delicious food! Some of the best I have had and not unreasonably priced. I would recommend booking as there are not many tables

This looked great but was vastly overpriced for poor coffee - it didn’t look any thing like a proper flat white and had no great coffee taste and had white froth, rather than smooth 'pour-pattern' milk. The tart had none of the melt-in-the-mouth characteristics of real French patisserie. I suppose we expected it to be a bakery and everything fresh, but nothing seems really straight from the oven.

This place is amazing, authentic French cuisine handmade by the owner. We popped in for coffee and croissants, you can eat meals there as well. Great delicatessen selling all kinds of French dishes, including part prepared food for you to take home and cook. This is just like being in France here.

Our first visit to new restaurant in Marlborough and what a great experience, absolutely delicious french food and the restaurant was packed! I am already looking forward to my next visit.

Always amazing food, atmosphere and service. It’s a real gem. This place never disappoints, a must visit in Hungerford.

Regretfully unusually bad food, ill prepared, served by obnoxious untrained young staff left in control by an ill mannered owner on the day of opening another restaurant at the expense of this little Hungerford bistro. Thankfully the restaurant's name is not L'Orient.

This is the best food addition to the area in years. The food is delicious, tasty and fresh, and we are slowly working our way through our favourites on their menu. The only thing that could improve is more tables ( i realise the building restricts this somewhat) and a small menu for young diners - my 5 year old son loves French food, especially Croques! it would be great to be able to pop in for lunch and be able to cater to a Children’s portion instead of paying for an adult size that he won’t eat. This place is hands down the best cafe / bistro in the town and i dont want having Children to force me into anywhere else!
