“A perfect lunch executed and served by absolute professionals.
A lovely warm welcome when we arrived set the tone for a very well paced relaxing lunch.
The floor team were charming and polite and knew their trade well and of course the food was spot on as one would expect from the experienced hands at the helm.
The quality of ingredients shines through in every dish and each course crafted to just the right level without being overly fussy.
The warm and intimate dining room would make a superb evening date as well I’ve no doubt.
Highly recommended, this place needs to be tried, appreciated and returned to regularly.”

“Nice country pub with beautiful garden, food was very good and service was spot on throughout. Laura was friendly, welcoming and was able to answer all the questions we had about the menu, made my mums day when she was able to bring some homemade short bread for her tea as we know it’s not something they normally have here (but biscuits with tea is a must in mums eyes!) looking forward to our next visit already ?”

“My husband Tony and I enjoyed a lovely meal here on 17/8/25. We loved the roast dinners except that the big Yorkshire pudding I had with my dinner was really tough to cut and eat so I left it on my plate after having one mouthful. The dessert I had with clotted cream was also very nice. I didn’t complain as the rest of the meal was delicious. I was very pleased to see that after a woman had left her table, a kind lady sitting opposite her suddenly got up to get the forgotten handbag and loudly said “you have left your handbag behind”. No response so the very thoughtful lady walked quickly to give it back to her. It was so nice to see a very honest and thoughtful lady being so helpful.”
