What a shame! We had to ask to order a drink as no-one came to our table after being seated. After over 10 minutes of waiting we asked about the drinks and were told ‘the bar is backed up as there is only 1 person on the bar, can I take your food order?’ We said we’d like to have a drink first and the staff member went to investigate. As this staff member was just looking at her phone we wondered why she wasn’t helping the bar staff.
Decor was very tired, paint peeling off walls and windows clearly hadn’t been cleaned for over a year which blocked the beautiful river view.
Toilets were also dirty.
The food was excellent, couldn’t fault it! But the rest of the experience left a lot to be desired and we therefore won’t be returning.

Lovely setting overlooking the river, but it’s pretty scruffy and tired, the food was fine nothing special. The main issue is the service was very poor, we were barely acknowledged, no one smiled, we had to search staff out to ask if we could sit, to ask them to clear the table, then to ask them to wipe the dirty table and also to ask how to order etc. When we did finally get hold of people they barely gave a smile, it was pretty busy but considering you order on the app or at the bar, get your own cutlery and water etc they definitely had time to be more attentive. I wouldn’t recommend.

Stopped to check the menu and was pleasantly surprised. 2 of is had the lamb shanks which were perfect and soft. Risotto was enjoyed as well and the chicken pie. Friendly helpful staff and nice spot by the river. Didn't even notice traffic from the bridge.
