Had a lovely lunch. Our waitress was very friendly and efficient and the food lovely. Will certainly return.

Unfortunately for the money we paid for Christmas dinner it was somewhat disappointing. Overcooked vegetables (they weren’t green anymore!), roast potatoes weren’t crispy, very thin gravy and it was clear that everything had been plated up in advance before service as it wasn’t hot: The scallop starter had been left under the heatlamps on the pass too long and had gone a dark brown colour without any sauce left, and the soup was also tepid. If you are going to charge over £100 for a Christmas lunch the quality of the food needs to be greatly improved.I couldn’t fault the service on the other hand, everyone was really friendly and attentive. Just a shame the food didn’t meet expectations for the price. It wasn’t even up to roast dinner standard and this was supposed to be a special occasion!Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible with toilet facilities but no radar key so anyone can use it (and leave people in wheelchairs outside queuing! ?). Table seating for wheelchair users is only in certain parts of the restaurant as there are steps in a few places.

Was unfortunately locked into set menu for boxing day & this meant we couldn’t leave. Myself and table of 6 guests WANTES to leave because the food took so long to arrive & when it did arrive (at different times for everyone at the table) it was cold and/or tasted awful. And it’s not okay for customers to ‘feel guilty’ about asking the waiter ing staff for the food or sauces they have ordered. Definitely will not be going back and will never recommend it.

Worse Christmas dinner EVER. Being vegetarian I was pleased celeriac steak was on the menu, very disappointed on what turned up, no trimmings or gravy. Paying £89 each upfront for our meal….to find a hidden service charge of 10% added on the day. Will never go back again. Total tip off!

Had a Christmas lunch at the Kings Arms the staff were lovely and helpful The food was poor for £89 per head I appreciate the staff working on Christmas day for us and we would normally give them a direct tip but a service charge of £70 was already added to our bill which upset a few people on our table as they had already paid what they thought the full amount in advance on the 3rd of December. Not good

Barmaid was so slow it was unbelievable she told me 3 times just a minute I waited 5 minutes for a Beer in a pub which was not busy.

Visited for the festive menu with family, food and drink were good, service was pleasant, but the facilities and the general up keep of the pub were very poor. Needs a refit very soon.

Great place. Food & Service was excellent, all very friendly. Tonight there was 'Mic Night' and the music was very good. Finished at a reasonable time to accommodate the area.Dietary restrictions: Gluten intolerant so needed to be careful staff very informative

Came in and was served by the manageress Charlotte, if the rest of the team have her standards then everyone is in safe hands… she was funny, patient and very knowledgeable, we had the wine & done menu £100 but very much worth the price!! We also had afew cocktails to boot, thanks to the barmaid who knocked together the espresso martini & mai tai… will 100% be returning thankyou for an amazing date night! The fella was very impressed

I love the place. But the tonic machine turned out flat tonic water. Having ordered Tanquery 10, the Gin and Tonic was about the worst I have ever had. Until the return of bottled tonic, I will drink elsewhere.

We went as a group of fourteen for a team dinner whilst in the village for an event. We have been before but only for drinks and this time we had a table for dinner. We started with drinks in the bar which were served quickly and with good customer service. After being seated our food order was taken promptly. The food came out shortly after and it was hot and fresh. I had the pizza which was really nice with a side of crispy onion rings. They were so crispy and stayed this way for over half an hour. A lot of people went for the Dirty Burger with raving reviews. The atmosphere is very cozy with real fires to keep warm. There are various rooms so suitable for small or large groups. The customer service is amazing.I will visit again when back in the area.
