I telephoned last night as I felt nine portions of fish and chips may well need a bit of forward planning. A very polite and helpful lady said that it shouldn't be a problem but in view of the large order if a small down payment could be made, and reminded me it is cash only. We went today (Sunday) at opening time to pay for the order, and the lady remembered me, and at 12.30pm we had nine lovely helpings of fish and chips. Everyone agreed they were some of the best they had eaten. Very generous portions, even the small servings, but there was hardly any waste. Oh My Cod was recommended to us by my niece as we live in Newbury, we will certainly bear it in mind if we're in the area again needing fish and chips. A big thank you for making my birthday lunch so tasty.

Nice food, good price, workers a kind and quick with service.The only issue is that it can get quite busy, and that it is cash only. Other than that, it's great, and we go here often, and I would recommend it to anyone who fancies a pretty nice chippy.Parking: A car park shared between multiple stores.Kid-friendliness: There are foods which are better suited for more “picky-kids”

We used oh my cod for a private function taking place on a Friday night in littlewick green and we needed 63 fish and chips ready for 9.30. Not only was this achieved, but every portion arrived hot and crispy. The meals, which were medium cod and chips were enjoyed by all of us and there was a discount. Thank-you to the manager and all his staff. Great food! Would definitely use again.Gary Russell

This place is TERRIBLE the food tasted like it was reheated the battered sausages were soft and not a hint of crunch. BUT the staff is the worst. they had so much. she was rude and she scrached her hair and proceeded to serve me without gloves. Never go

oh my cod more like oh my god. the chips where overcooked and there where black bits in my chips. the batter for my cod was really moist and the fish inside was really dry like it has been sat out there for days. one of the girls was scratching her head and proceeded to handle food without washing her hands.
I was very disappointed today as I got a chips and sausage the chips were undercooked/really pale but the sausage was cold in the middle and the batter was soggy . The staff on the other hand were a bit snappy at me while I was looking for what I wanted (there was no one to serve while I was there ). Would not recommend which is a shame as it’s a quick walk to this chippy

100% the best chippy in maidenhead, they’re all halal food and all of the workers are professional and so kind and helpful. Food is served fresh out the fryer and tastes absolutely amazing. Definitely worth my money, 11/10 id recommend this place to anyone

My company has an office in Maidenhead, I was looking for a walkable location for lunch. It was on National Fish and Chips day (June 2), and was happy to find this little spot, Oh My Cod, nearby. I ordered the small, and it was still a huge portion; a full fried filet of cod, and a very large portion of chips. Everything was delicious – I needed some salt, but that could be just me. Also got their steak pie, which was small and delicious. Their meats are listed as Halal.Including my can of coke, it cost only £14. They were getting phone in orders non-stop while I was there.Seems to be family owned, and the people that work there are extremely friendly. There were locals in there that they knew by name. There are no tables, so take-away only.I'll be going back whenever I'm in the Maidenhead offices.
