We visited today for the 4th or 5th time in 10years and once again left with smiles on our faces. It’s now about a 25mile drive for us but worth the drive. The satay chicken is the best I’ve ever had. The people of Maidenhead need to get behind this place before they lose it as the owner said it’s been increasingly hard since covid. I would be gutted to see this place go. An honest, good quality and independent restaurant.

Visited this restaurant while travelling for business as the reviews were fantastic.Dinner totally justified the exceptional reviews that others have posted, the service was exemplary, and the food was fantastic.The lamb pad prig was absolutely delicious with a beautiful balance of flavours and spice.Only disappointment is that I don't live in the area!!

The food is amazing,service sublime, however the prices keep rising and rising to eat in..for instance you can get a king prawn Pad Thai and price is £15.95 eat in/ £11 take away , which is outrageous and will ultimately be their demise

I have been coming here for many years, the food has always been very good and have never had a bad meal. I went on a Tuesday night, the restaurant soon became full. I opted for the special lamb shank panang on the table talker. It was the best meal I've ever had here. So much flavour with the sauce and the lamb shank was huge, perfectly cooked. Service as ever was exemplary.

A fantastic meal at the Thai Orchid on Saturday evening. We ordered two set menus and every dish was excellent, one of the best meals we have ever had. We have visited regularly over the years, but this was the first time for while. The service was excellent as usual, our thanks and appreciation to the all the staff. We will be back again soon !

Terrible experience. Ordered crackers and Tom Yum to start. The soup was akin to a stock with spices in it. Service is pathetic and I waited an hour for a main of simple stir fry and rice which didn't show up despite me being reassured it was on its way. I got up and walked out never to return.
