The place to visit for authentic kolkata bengali food. The biryani reminded me of Arsalan. A must visit for all foodies...

I ordered Egg curry, Chicken curry, and Fish Curry, but unfortunately, they all tasted alike, resembling tomato sauce, and were served with chicken, egg, and fish in separate containers. It didn’t feel like a worthwhile value for money …..

We have been here many times. Every time we came back with a smile. All the staffs are good, food is excellent. It surely reminds us of our native place, food is just spot on. Special recommendations- fish thali, Kolkata style biryani. Had visited this place with friends from different countries and families too. Everyone was always awestruck. We even organised our son’s first year birthday party in here. And no surprise at all, everyone was happy with the food and overall experience. Owners are very cooperative as well. Always love to go back here even if we need to drive for an hour. Always a pleasure.

The food used to be great and not too bad still, but on 3 different occasions we have received stale food and that is mostly the Mutton Biriyani. I appreciate that most of the items on the menu tastes great, but nothing is more important than quality. Please start taking care of that aspect.

I have known of this restaurant for a while, but do not live near by. Finally I decided to pay a visit. I loved their food and service. The front desk lady is super efficient. The menu is delectable and have many of my favorites. I loved the Thali concept as it provided many of my favorites in small portions, more than enough in quantity for a person's meal. All the dishes tasted great and I ended up having takeaways as well. One of the owners was there and came to greet which is a wonderful gesture. I hope this restaurant flourishes as there are not many authentic Bengali restaurants around. Looking forward to my next visit.Vegetarian options: Bengali cuisine have many vegetarian options, and this restaurant does a great job in having many of those options.Parking: There is a huge paid parking lot in a minute's walk from the restaurant.Kid-friendliness: I have seen families with kids enjoying the meals.

Visited Adda Hut for lunch. The ambience is homely and service is brilliant. Coming to the food, I'm falling short of words. It was F.A.N.T.A.S.T.IC! Had the mutton meal and every thing was perfect, took me back to Kolkata. Tried some fish fry as well and it was GREAT too! We took some stuff back, would be relishing them all week now. Definitely a great go to place for all! THANK YOU! Special thanks to the girl waiting today as she drew nice smileys on our takeaway packs, a cute gesture!

Had been a bit apprehensive - I wasn't sure what to expect. However the best curry I've had in many years. Exceptionally flavoursome meal at a really good price. More than happy to pay the service charge. Looking forward to returning but also intend to use for a takeaway. Thank you. Have already raved to friends about how much we enjoyed it.

High prices, less food quantities . Food took forever to arrive. Taste wasn't authentic as we thought it would be for Bengali food like Mutton Kosa , Kolkata Biryani and Steamed fish. Quantity of Mishto doi was so little for almost £4 ! Our bill was almost £60 ( service included) for 2 adults and one child.

We do not live local to the place but had visited Reading to have dinner at this restuarant. The food was very tasty and the Biryani definitely reminded me of Kolkata back home. It is the authentic kolkata biryani with very good portion size and can say the best one of a kind I have had in the UK. Loved their Koraisutir kochuri and aalur dom too. I am sure the Chef there is the perfect choice for running the kitchen. Would love to try their thaali and fish recipes. Probably chingrir malaikari next time ?
