I arrived 1 hour before closing. I asked to buy a meal and was told there was no chips for sides as they had ran out but I could have crisps instead. I asked about the other sides avaliable and was told I could have crisps. It was obvious they had turned off the fryers and I would have been happy with that answer. I ended up ordering a pizza after turning down the precooked pizzas on display as I wanted something else to the annoyance of who I assume was the manager, I was sold a 14 inch pizza instead of a 16 inch that I had paid for

They are way too slow with their service. I was waiting in line for 25 minutes just to order. They had no sense of urgency or time management. The food is okay but unless you have time to waste don't go.

Love the holiday offers of kids eat for £1 the service is very slow, but this is due to only having two staff to cook, serve, and clean up! But overall food is good and the place is clean.

Go into the cafe a couple of times each month, have the £5 pizza or sandwich special. There's never enough staff, only ever two, and there rushed off their feet. Today, the poor man kept dishing up lunches, running off to take them to tables, in between taking my order, and me paying. There's always a queue waiting.I'd of thought being half term and kids eating for £1 they'd have more staff.Anyway, four of us had pizza and chips today, and 3 of us have had upset tummy! So not great.

Awful service due to understaffing.Paid for a horrible DYI hot chocolate (yes, you read correctly! They give you a cup, you put chocolate powder, milk and fill the rest in the machine). £4.50 for an ok toastie that took ages to get ready. Never again! Next time I’d go to Greggs or Costa.

For the price I paid, the food was of poor quality.

Fish fryer was down. All day brunch was massively over cooked. Pretty disappointed

Absolutely disgusted at the experience in the ASDA Kitchen. The male staff member/manager behind the counter was coughing EVERYWHERE, without washing his hands or even bothering to pull his mask up and over his mouth. After a coughing fit, and ZERO attempt at hygiene, he proceeded to hand me a coffee mug by holding the rim - this is disgusting behaviour.Bowls available to customers were dirty; there were dirty utensils on the racks, and we watched as an employee dumped clean utensils onto the dirty ones.Salt is near-impossible to find, there was no ketchup in sight for the kids and after witnessing the lack of hygiene employed by staff, I refrained from asking staff for anything. We left the ASDA Kitchen without ordering anything for me to eat, my wife left her undercooked meal virtually untouched (apart from the sausages which has made her feel ill). There is little wonder as to why Greggs was packed while the cafe was empty. The prices are really decent and portion sizes seem generous - but the lack of adequately cooked food, lack of hygiene and general poor service makes the risk of eating there just not worth it.

Good food at a cost effective price. Hot drinks are machine made, so not that good. Only 1 server and 1 person in the kitchen so expect a slow service
