Please can ASDA Lower Earley explain why you would sell avocado from Israel? Are you supportive of what Israel doing right now to the Palestinians?

I live close to Asda Lower Early and usually do my shopping there. Today, around 1:30 after checking out, I realized I had forgotten my wallet at home. I tried to set up my online wallet, but the lady working at the self-checkout dark brown hair spoke to me in a really rude manner. she kept staring at me while I tried to set up my wallet .

Nice friendly staff but poorly managed. Big queue at kiosk and getting bigger with the poor lady behind the til not getting any help.

Kiosk hours seems to be made up by the employees, third time in a row I’m being told that the hours just changed and they won’t serw me.

You can’t deny, this supermarket has everything you need. And the prices are pretty darn good too!An important part of customer service which needs improvement is how they manage the self checkouts. I’m quite a patient individual, but I have waited numerous times between 1-3 minutes to have my ID checked or items verified. They simply do not have staff who have the sole priority of managing those checkouts.

Unfortunately my ASDA groceries delivery was coming from this store, and it never arrived. The tracking on my account was not updated, keeping me waiting for the delivery for 2+ hours as it said “on its way” and that my delivery was the next stop. Had to chase costumer service to know what was happening, and it turned out that my delivery had been canceled, apparently because the driver could not find the address, but didn’t contact me at all, and I have received previous deliveries from ASDA groceries at the exact same address. Costumer service suggested I would place another order, paying for another delivery fee, when they were the ones at fault. Very unfortunate experience, and poor service overall.

It’s been awhile since I have had an Asda breakfast. I can coy that they are still very good. The coffee was a bit thin and lacking in flavour but overall an excellent way to prepare for the Christmas food shopping

Love this supermarket. It's always well-stocked. The staff are professional and happy to help. The checkout staff smile and are friendly. I love the World Foods aisle. The bakery is first-rate. There are some great reduced sections as well. I literally bounce when I'm there because I know it's going to be a positive shopping experience. I wish all supermarkets were like this.

It’s a conveniently placed shop however… Why are there no tills open in the evening when it’s still extremely busy? There were 2 staff on the tobacco counter when there are barely any customers there, 2 staff not doing a lot at self check-out. I always use self check-out when buying a moderate amount but not on a full food shop! I think I will be choosing Iceland in the future for big food shops as they actually help with checking out, rather than just watching you struggle to fit everything on the trolley shop self check-outs. It was around 8pm so not that late… This is not the first time this has happened… Maybe next time I will have to leave my massive trolley, then the staff will actually have to do some work (putting it away)

Went there to collect my two "George" orders. After using click & collect point I had to wait around 10min. When the staff ladie came I had to wait until she's done chatting with other "customer" (they been discussing personal stuff) while the queue started to build up. When she decided to come with the parcels for all of us, she asked my NAME. When I told her she suddenly done two steps backwards and said that it's not correct. Her reaction made me feel like she expects me to grab the parcel and run away with them. I showed her my phone with delivery confirmation and she said that "she doesn't know what she is looking at". I told her that I received the information that I can collect my orders. She wasn't helpful at all!! I don't work for Asda and I don't know how exactly your online system generates the user name on the order stickers. On the website I provided my full name and surename. On the parcels there was only my surname. The staff ladie was very unprofessional and rude. I expected more professional behaviour. Now when I think of that it feels racist as well, as the way she replied was unacceptable. Very unpleasant and unexpected expense. Customer service below 0.

Good place to shop has everything you need under one roof, plenty of free parking and a cafe and Gregg's shop

Before the management changed a year ago, ASDA Lower Earley was a fine store. However, in recent months, it has turned out to be the worst, most disorganised store perhaps in the entire UK. The majority of the products are unavailable, every aisle is disorganised, and there is always a queue. Since customers regrettably don't have many options, the store manager and management should be utterly ashamed of themselves for turning a profit while sacrificing quality.I gave 1 star, but this is too much.
