I had taken my family for a Christmas Eve meal and one of the waitiers was picking his nose, sneezing into his hands then handling plates and cutlery! He was constantly picking his nose and rubbing his nose. At one point I saw him pick his nose and eat it! (No i'm not joking) I won't be going back there any time soon!!!

We had our department Christmas party here on Friday night. There were 19 of us, the table was beautifully laid, the service was really good. I had pre-ordered the meals from the Festive Menu - loads of choice and brilliant value! - and they came out all together, hot and delicious! Good fun atmosphere, great value for money, lovely staff, thoroughly recommend.Vegetarian options: We had several vegetarians and one vegan and they all said how good the choice was - excellent food.Parking: Riverside car park is close by, lots of parking.
Absolutely delectable. The staff were lovely but the food was nicer. The pizzas are very large which is perfect for people with big appetites. Also, the dessert was delicious and I would go again definitely!!!!!

Awful experience. I went there with my girlfriend. Even before sitting, they told me table for 2.? I said yes .. they said sorry I have only 3 chefs and 31 people coming..Basically they just said if you want to risk or prefer to leave..No sorry nothing completely unpolite.I have the impression of the complete lack of managementBasically they just kicked out of the restaurant and were done.I will never go there again.

I had ordered food via deliveroo, I received the wrong order, when called Bella Italia they did not take any responsibility. They said it is a system glitch with deliveroo, even if it is a system glitch they need to sort it out among themselves, why should the customer suffer. Also, the food is not good. The flat bread and pizza were so flat, and tasteless that we had to bin it. When I say flat, I literally mean it. Really disappointed with the food and the response received from Bella Italia staff.
Took a group of 25 very excited primary school children to eat after a long afternoon rehearsing at the Hexagon before heading back to the Hexagon in time to perform. Everything went very smoothly, thanks to the efficient and attentive team, and the children had a great time - thank you!

Quite dissapointed by the overall experience. First table we sat at we found had not been cleaned properly with crumbs on seats and table which was slightly sticky. Our server apologised, explained it wasn't his table. The one he suggested did not look much better but we found another which was better but you couldn't help noticing the table was slightly sticky and the seats worn.Coffee machine was broken so the other half couldn't have her cocktail and though Negroni is on the menu they dont offer the drink anymore.Our first course was nice but the wait for the main course took over half an hour in a restaurant that was hardly busy. Just to top it all, the food was just off warm heading to tepid when it did arrive. Daughter's pizza was missing one of the two toppings ordered but she was so hungry at this point that we couldn't flag. I noticed my pizza base had no leoparding so i dare say they don't have a pizza oven so not the place to come for pizza imo. The boy chose the place and says he's heard they do go pasta but not sure i would come again if this is standard quality and service for Bella Italia.The waiter was good and I gave feed back but all I got was a simple apology. Never mind.

I will only talk about food in detail because it was AMAZING! This restaurant has secured a place on my list of "restaurants I can comfortably eat in at Reading". We(only 2 ppl) ordered 4 items as you can see in the photo and wiped the plates clean. The food was light and perfectly seasoned!. The pasta needed a lil bit of salt(but that's my inner indian) that's all! The staff was friendly. Good ambience! Food was rightly priced and there was a lot of choice. I very highly recommend this for pasta lovers.

Hi everyone. Today was trying to enjoy Sunday lunch with my family. But unfortunately, we were very disappointed. They asked the waiter to clean the table because it was very dirty and sticky. The waiter ignored our request and just left. The food was cooked for more than 65 minutes, although this institution wasn’t so packed that 2 dishes would be cooked for more than an hour.
