what I got was hot coffee with on top a chemical foam made from powdered mixture at room temperature served with a straw. no way i could suck that dense mixture. with the price I payed I was expecting genuine cappuccino with genuine ingredients.

Very large shop in Reading, although very few customers. It was early afternoon on a Monday after all. Very polite staff, used toilet which was very clean. Staff didn't bother you, but as others left they wiped down the tables, so you could sit there as long as, without someone asking if you'd like anything else...

This cafe is lovely and big, so there are plenty of tables to sir at. This cafe also has 2 sizable toilets for anyone to use.The staff are all friendly and kind, and are more then willing to help carry drinks to the table.I always enjoy a relaxing drink here.

I get my daily take away soya cappucinno here , but not sure if it's too busy but today they have given me milk one :( Had a bad stomacahe after that.Their coffee is the best among the chain... Thought they have changed another brand of soya milk but seems like it's not the case...Anyway next time best to double check with em

I don't very often go into town on Sundays but I did today and went into Caffe Nero on the corner of Broad Street for coffee. Staff were very busy but still made you feel like your business was very important to them. They also make great coffee. I will definitely visit again.

This is a very nice caffe at the heart of the city. I always get a coffee on my way to work from here. It has a great view to the street if you like to drink inside.

Dropped two stars, because whilst I was there, they cleared the tables, but not one table was wiped clean. It was not busy so NO EXCUSES for BASIC hygiene. My hot chocolate was nice though !!

This is a well sited branch on the corner of Broad St and St Mary's Butts. The service was a bit slow (understaffed). The coffee and cheesecake average. Not a bad experience by any means.

Absolutely no cleaning of tables when we were there, just cleared !!! Not busy either, so NO EXCUSES !! However, my hot chocolate was nice.
My coffee was with a great taste although a little cold, my companions was a cold cortado, the atmosphere was great, the staff was nice but seemed exhausted at 5:30,Prices are similar to all similar coffee shops.Like many other shops of the same chain, and coffee shops of other chains, I hate the wasted milk they throw away after treating it with the steam, to make the foam to put on top of the small cup of coffee,Add to that the coffee they throw when you ask for any smaller glass brand, the machine will give two lines of coffee, they put a cup under one line, and the other line goes down to the drain, what a waste.I will go there again

The coffee was alright. But the staff who served me was rude or simply unprofessional. I was not aware that the café only accepts cards, therefore intended to pay with cash, the barista looked at me and said: “Card only”. Better communication would be greatly appreciated.

My latte was alright and the hot chocolate was adequate but it was let down by the atmosphere and the fact the windows were dirty. I would rather go to Costa than go back there. Not for me. My partner did say he liked his danish.

Popped in for a coffee as we was passing. Staff polite enough and asked us to scan the track and trace. Sat in the seating area and was just looking around like you do. The place just looks old and grubby. Needs a good overhaul On a separate note the coffee was hot and ok

We have recently moved to Reading and worried about finding a great coffee shop with friendly staff but we didn't need to worry! From our first visit we were impressed and the staff are fantastic, always friendly no matter how busy they get. Paulina and Alicja (and the other girls) are lovely and we always find the cafe clean and well organised. In this difficult time with covid all the girls ensure everything is cleared quickly and kept sanitised. Thank you to them all.
