Yet again I was given small fries when I ordered large. This has happened several times before when ordering on Deliveroo. You never get this issue in person but they always try and pull a fast one when you're ordering through a delivery company. Absolutely shameful.

one of the best fast food chains ever, but a little bit too expensive. the potatoes were gorgeous, the meat was juicy and the milkshake was a little bit too sweet. i recommend it.

Well good start excellent service to order ,move on to get your drink no Coca Cola choices in either machines no tango original either found out the hard way with carbonated water spilling out over me , after asking staff one guy gave us bottles of coke as husband asked for a refund manager came out with her mobile checked the machine for the cartridges needed then disappeared ,no communication ,no sorry ,then received food Cajun fries burnt husband returned them got given plain ones husband returned them ,they were tipped out Cajun spice added they were ok …..we ate and watched no notice put up about the drinks machines ,more customers getting cross as not been told ,same manager re appears I think unaware that we had previously seen her and we made it know that she was aware of the issue but had done nothing about it ,eventually she stormed off into her office ,another senior member of staff arrived ,she seemed to get things in hand and hey presto the drinks machines were being refilled with the syrup cartridges ….Would it be a good idea if the machines were checked and ready to go before opening ? Tell your customers at ordering if there is an issue so as they can choose to continue ? Also not sure on security but should staff be on their own moving money float trays to the tills ……Another family of 3 had worse issues than us he had to go back to the counter 3 times he was not a happy man

Really tasty birthday lunch with the family not cheap food, but loads of it and really delicious. The milkshakes are amazing too. The only problem is too many chips (not actually a problem we’ll share next time) and how to make a decision on what to have as your extras!

Four times I’ve bought our miniature dachshund into the Reading restaurant and the manager said we could after checking. Today we were told we couldn’t bring our dog in and had to get a refund. Disgusted sort your policy out please!!!!!!!!

Really enjoy Five guys when I pop into town to go shopping. Fast and tasty and exactly what you want it to be. The flavoured coke is great too!!

Slow to arrive and not quite value for money. The cajun fries were very salty and not good for those with health issues. The cheeseburger was average and not worth the money charged. Overall....not likely to visit again. Overrated..

After seeing the glowing reviews from TimeOut etc. that were posted at the entrance I had to try it. Wish I hadn't. No plates nor cutlery so had to eat with fingers out of paper and foil wrapping. Chips were so over-fried that they consisted of a light powdery filling inside a thick shell of solidified grease. Burger patty was ok but nothing special and, to me, didn't justify its price.
It was a Deliveroo delivery (my first) and was quick and easy. I had a cheeseburger with fries and a bottle of coke. Absolutely delicious, though I had to rewarm the food for 5 minutes as it was a cold day and I’m 3 miles from the restaurant.

Posted a Five Guys review in the past. Never lets me down in terms of taste. Always a great meal to soak up the alcohol from the night before! Burger was spot on and once again, a small portion of fries ends up being way more than you need. Love that salty unique peanut oil taste too. Once again the only thing I can fault is the price at the end of it all and also the wait was a bit long this time. Apart from that, thank you for curing my hangover.

I had a hamburger and it was not worth how much I paid. I was eating in and they put it in tinfoil. I do that when I have leftovers , so to me it did not look good. I asked for a small chips but got too much. I would recommend the milkshakes but nothing else. I would only go back for a milkshake and I would not eat there again . The staff were nice enough but that was it.
