Was looking for a nice lunch with my partner, both vegan, and decided to ask about the vegan options on the menu. We were absolutely delighted- Joey talked us through all the different things we could have, both sweet and savoury- lots of different combinations that they were happy to make up for us. Our galettes were made with vegan butter and vegan cheese and were delicious!! All the drinks can be made vegan, and their desserts were too- we weren't expecting that as well!Another tip, if you like matcha lattes, they make an amazing one with organic vanilla, really the best I've ever had.Joy is definitely the right name for here - for the people and the food, the whole place is lovely. Can't wait to come back!

One of my favourite places I've been to in a while. Everyone was so lovely, especially who I'd assume is the owner, and the food was amazing. The menus great, and there are allergen alternatives for basically everything, which is super nice and not that common to find. They even brought out samples of some desserts for us to try, which was so kind. The people working there were the best part though, so thank you :) Will definitely be returning despite not being based in Wokingham!

Such a wonderful place; absolutely delicious crepes, lovely range of treats but the main attraction for me is their home made gelato. Absolutely nothing else rivals this; delicious and made with such love. Service always with a smile; this place is fabKid-friendliness: Great place to treat kids for crepes and ice creams and pups for a scoop of a dog friendly treat!

What an absolute gem of a place! Delicious crêpes and homemade bakes, made by people who are clearly passionate about their food and what they create. Such a lovely warm welcome and a wonderful chat with staff who talked us through all the delicious options. Everything is gluten free and there are lots of vegan choices too. Very impressed - we'll definitely be visiting again!

If you’re in Wokingham and need a gluten free lunch, pop into Joy Café. 100% gluten- free sweet or savoury crepes and galettes. They also make their own gelato and a selection of gf and vegan cakes. Crepes can also be vegan. Situated at 31 Broad Street, just to the side of Chalk Restaurant, this is a small café with a take out service and small interior (with one table and few benches), with the addition of tables outside for the warmer months. Very friendly staff and really good crepes.

It really is a joyful experience visiting Joy Cafe. The owner is just such a lovely man. It's a shame that the place isn't larger with more seating.
