Thank you to Katherine for making sure we were welcome and had everything that we needed. Attentive service, swift food despite being busy, and good portion sizes.

Prices were horrendous and food was no better than wetherspoons. They have an ordering app but you can't use it for food (why?), one meal was requested without tartare sauce which was still given, and asked for garden peas then given mushy. Another meal was charged for large chips which again were specifically asked to have regular chips. The aesthetic was obnoxious and the walls were covered in damage marks. Really unhappy with the whole experience

Went between Christmas and New Year. It was clear there were some staffing issues, maybe not enough cover.Service was slow, and there were some items missing from the orders. The staff were trying their best, and the food was fine, but there was clearly some struggle.Normally, this is quite a reliable Harvester, so I put the issue down to the time of year.

Booking for Christmas was a nightmare. They lost our booking and deposit claiming we booked on a scam site (despite going through their email, ect, and being repeat customers) they were rude and treated us like we were scamming them. They gave us a table at 4pm despite "closing at 4" then whilst sorting menu choices, contacting us, threatening to give our table away if we didn't confirm by the evening, and pay remainder. Payment, unlike deposit, could not be done by phone but in person or gift voucher. We came on Christmas day, not sure what to expect but it was nice with wait staff that were lovely. The only disappointment was the manager who came to introduce himself to the person he'd been dealing with. This did make us feel uncomfortable as he wasn't genuine or even welcoming or apologetic. Because they closed at 6, the tills were shut down by 5.45, and coffee (part of the experience) was not offered as it was closed. The starters were lovely, main turkey was not bad, but the potatoes, parsnips, and Yorkshire pudding were (unlike last time) aunt Bessie frozen quality and vile. The pork was too rich swimming in this horrid sauce I couldn't eat. The desert was lovely..I can't fault the servers as they were so sweet and attentive.allas I will not be booking next year.

First time for our family at this harvester. Nice/different location in the park. Tasty food followed up by lovely big desserts afterwards. Special thanks to Sandy who served us today. We would definitely visit again.

Arrived at 7.30 for out booked table. The restaurant was.not overly busy. Seated in a booth which was nice. Upon looking the window area was filthy. We ordered our meals and went ti the salad cart wich was mostly empty, over ripe tomatos and a complete mess. We ate our starters wich were nice. Then the mains arrived. The 2 burgers were good. The belly pork comes with ratatouille and mash and sounded delicious. The ratatouille was awful and the meal was literally covered in bbq sauce. 1983 meal arrived and we were told there was no half roast chicken but can offer chicken breast instead, the size of the chicken beast was shameful and overcooked. My sons 18th now ruined as 2 of us couldn't really eat and the rest felt too awkward to finish meal so we requested take away box's. The whole place has really gone down hill we use to love coming as its suits us all with the variety.

Christmas Eve festive dinner with our family booking of 15 was amazing. Food was great and service was excellent. Have recommended to all of my friends. Well done to the staff especially to the lady in charge as you are an asset to the company.

Cooked breakfast...good except poached eggs were way to overdone ? Staff lovely and lovely environment. Shame about eggs though.

We did have a rather interesting experience after booking of Christmas Dinner here this year. We went last year and loved it, the atmosphere, value for money etc. was all great. I was especially impressed with the food.We decided to go back this year after receiving an email about booking again so I followed the link and paid my deposit just as I did last year. For reasons we are all still investigating (not sure if it is their end or if I have fallen for a horrible scam) my booking couldn't be found and I had to retrieve the deposit back from the bank. I feel as though this was jumped on by the team in an exceptional way and was quickly and thoroughly investigated. After a great deal of effort John the manager got us booked in for Christmas Day at the time we wanted despite them being heavily/fully booked. This really didn't go unnoticed and the efficiency resolving this given how slow I was at coming back to them between work travels etc. was really appreciated, thank you all.I do have to say that sadly the food wasn't to our tastes this year, which may well be a personal preference thing. It just didn't feel as though the value for money was there in the same way it was last year and this was a little disappointing but important to feedback. We were unable to have the coffees at the end as part of the set menu too as they had closed the coffee station but we were not offered this at any point after our desert or warned it was closing which was a shame. It was just a number of things that built up and we sadly may be looking for a new place to visit for future Christmasses but again this is most probably a personal preference thing for a few in our group. If you are looking for something at a very reasonable price for Christmas Day, with a nice team of people and a fair good atmosphere then I would recommend these guys. I will always be a fan of the salad bar and endless refills on the soft drinks!!!

Went for lunch on Christmas Day. Absolutely superb. Couldn’t fault food or service. Complete contrast to last Christmas Day at Toby Carvery Newbury. Our server Sandy was brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble and she cheerfully brought a couple of little extras we asked her for. Altogether a wonderful experience. Definitely be going back.

The table was all set ready for my Festive Menu party booking with salad bowls set ready for everyone. It took a while for our starters to be served but had to wait a very long time for our main course. Our booking was at 1pm and our main courses weren't served until 2.15pm after we had asked where they were. Desserts also took quite a while after that too. So we weren't able to leave until about 4pm. Disappointed there were no xmas crackers.Parking: Plenty of space available
