What a find! Never visited before and popped in for post meeting drinks/light good. The food was amazing and very well priced , the service was great and there was a wide range of good beers on tap Will be back for sure and so pleased we found this little gem! Would recommend to anyone - especially for social post work venue!

I have recently attended a function at the Outlook. The Food and service were good, unfortunately the bar downstairs did not have much on beer/lager on draft and was not stocked very well with other drinks we wanted, meaning we walked back upstairs to the main bar.

How this place is not busier I do not know. Friendly staff and dog friendly (encouraged). The food was very well priced and probably the best steak and ale pie I have ever had. Fully recommend this place

We walked in to have an afternoon tea and ordered 5 mix & share pub plates. They are nice little dishes and tasty. Our table is close to the windows facing river side. Nice view and quiet. The waiter is very helpful and friendly. Order was made easily via apple App. Definitely we will visit again.

Booked surprise party for my daughter and we booked the function room Bar 77…….what a fantastic place to hire for a party… Corey and his team could not do enough and the buffet they bought out was amazing. I would not hesitate to recommend The Outlook and Bar 77

Nice location and friendly staff. Food only served until 9pm but good lunch deals until 4pm weekdays. The ladies toilets are not clean or tidy and very desperately in need of a refirb, hot taps hardly work, loo seat not attached, worse than a few others locally, check there is loo roll before you go or you might get caught out. In contrast there is a Really lovely view of the river from the rear windows.

Came for lunch on a day out in Reading. Service was brilliant. Food was amazing, very nice menu with great selection. Pub is lovely inside and has a nice atmosphere. Would highly recommend

Comfortable pub with a very nice atmosphere. I enjoyed the seats by the window where you can see the River Kennett and the surrounding architecture. All round pleasant experience.
Clean, modern pub with quiet atmosphere on the Monday day night I attended.Friendly staff and comfortable seating, with decked area overlooking the river.Food is available at a reasonable price. You can also book the front area of the pub for private venue if you have a larger group of people.Queens Road Car Park is the nearest parking place, just a 5 minute walk.

We made reservations for the Sunday Roast. When we arrived, there was one bartender who was responsible for making drinks, ordering meals, and serving food. I ordered a merlot. They didn’t have any. I ordered the Sunday Roast. They only had one cook and no Sunday Roasts as advertised. My husband ordered the mixer foods. Nope! They didn’t have that either. So we left! Very disappointed! They need more help! I cannot recommend this place with no staff and no food and no wine.

I attended an open mike night here as my sons' band was playing. There is a separate area for this, away from the main bar, in the basement. There is also a court yard outside. Good atmosphere and an enjoyable evening
