Really disappointed recently with the food from sea master fish and chips. For the first time we decided to sit in and eat fish and chips. When we got them, the food was on small plates and when trying to eat, the chips were falling off the plate on to the table. You pay more to eat in and it looks like you get less food than if you take out but it’s hard to keep the food you do have on the plate. Also on Saturday I decided to have a large portion of chips to share but I would say it was a large portion of chips that was also disappointing as the food from here used to be really good and I used to go here a lot but I don’t know now.

Quick friendly service, very tasty food and big portions. My pregnant partner was craving fish and chips and she was not disappointed. Second visit in a month as was so good the first time and somehow managed to be even better. Will be returning.

Below was 5 yrs ago.... today isn't the same.Just spent £8.50 on med cod and so called chips. Last half of It went in the bin.Absolutely ridiculous quality...not up to any minimum standard at all...needs to be a one off as this place won't trade with that muck.Reheated black ends rotten chips. Fish dry all other stuff in cabinet looked awful... come on do better for the costs!!!5* Review- Best Fish and chips in Reading... I'll go there from Lower Earley. The rest over this side ain't doing if for me... Efficient polite and chips golden,no stale oil and fish flaky white and superb batter. Portions huge and excellent prices in comparison to East Reading and beyond.. Try for yourself and judge.

Phoned up to say they have given me a spring roll. Not a curry roll to get told the new curry rolls taste like spring rolls like I don’t know the difference between a spring roll and a curry roll. Hayhoe. Won’t be going back there

The fish was like a biscuit. Very underwhelming for a large cod. Service was quick but I would have waited longer for a better product.

went in on Monday 2/3/23 and had battered sausage & chips twice, chips fantastic as always but the sausage's were hard as a rock and very dry as though they were from sunday, my dog was not even impressed and she know the road as soon as we turn in and starts barking for her chip fix, will check next time and ask for fresh cooked, will not stop me coming backParking: pay and display but quick in and out and its ok
