Attend a 6th birthday party. Staff 5*, nothing was too much trouble, clean facilities, and the bar snacks from the menu were lovely and hot. Would highly recommend hire of the restaurant side for a function.

Good Greene King pub - a friend recommended the BYOB (build your own burger) and other than them not having gherkins in stock and our drinks (2 diet colas, apple juice and pint of beer) taking 20 mins, they were great. Parking was very difficult hence 4 starsDietary restrictions: Great for nut allergies and dairy allergiesParking: not many spaces for the size of venue so impossible to find parking - there were cars blocking in others, in places that aren't spaces... not too great for that

Rented the restaurant of the sportsman for my son's birthday party, It was a fantastic afternoon! The space was big enough to comfortably host 30 guests, the staff were very accommodating and welcoming! Overall a great experience.

Great pub for food and drinks. Crispy wings, tasty garlic mushrooms, juicy burgers - and so much more. Nobody in our party had a bad thing to say. The staff - Claire, Steven and Alison in the kitchen were all amazing. Good drinks selection, a variety of draught beers and ciders and a good choice of spirits. Bring your family, the atmosphere is great for it.

Lovely and accommodating staff. We came in a big group without a booking and they went out of their way to make sure we were looked after. I had the Sunday turkey roast which was moist and delicious. Thanks, Claire and your team on the day for being so wonderful.
