Great carvery, when you can’t be bothered to spend all day making a roast at home, a carvery does the job. Cheap, choose the meats you want, choose the vegetables you want. I rarely eat a desert, I never feel like I have room for one. Allergy menu available for those who need to avoid things. On today’s visit, the vegetarian gravy was a bit lumpy, but it’s usually good. Waitress asked if we were ok. Reliable place for anyone who wants to avoid cooking today and likes their traditional fare.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian items are markedDietary restrictions: Allergy menu available to scrutinise the menu and avoid allergensParking: Next to the pub, free and space for approximately 50-60 carsKid-friendliness: Welcomes kids and familiesWheelchair accessibility: Doorway and table floor, all on the same level. Toilet warning ⚠️ several flights of stairs to reach the toilets ?

Food was OK, I have some criticisms.- Plant based sausages were cooked horribly, I'm not sure how but one end was so solid when I cut into it, it flew off the table- Beans were really watery, like someone added water to make them go further- Hash browns were strange, they were hard and dry but didn't seem overcooked - maybe in the oven too long as they didn't seem deep friedIt would be nice to see more choice of breakfast items, like poached eggs, plant based bacon, grilled tomatoes and different toast spreads. In comparison Beefeaters options blow Toby out the water and the pricing is really not bad at £9.99 for Beefeater which includes a continental breakfast and hot drinks. I paid nearly £12 for Toby which included medium juice and tea.

Nice roast meal here today and reasonable cost plus drinks good. They put the wrong sauce on the ice cream but got a new one immediately and forgot drinks but we would return.

Service was quick and accurate. The food will not set the world on fire but if you want a good roast at a reasonable price this is the place to come.Parking: Good number of spaces but you can always park next to the shops and walk over if needed.Kid-friendliness: Waitress was excellent at helping my daughter find some food she would eat from the menu.Kids menus available with good portions.
