Food was OK, service was OK but not very friendly. Tables are very close together, I only had a sandwich but mixed reviews from other people eating cooked breakfasts around me. I'm sure they must lose customers to the cafe a couple of doors down, think I would be tempted to try that one next time. It was OK here but I wouldn't rush back.

Such a shame this place used to be so good. Went today and was really disappointed. £8 per breakfast and they arrived missing items bacon was white and sausage had shrivelled up. Side of black pudding was £1.20 and what came was a pile of black pudding crumbs. Only positive was the coffee was OK.

We stayed at a hotel close by for 2 weeks. This was our breakfast on a lot of the week days. Good food, good portion sizes, good price. Loved their prawn mayo baguettes. Note that not everything on their boards is an item they sell and if you order through Uber Eats or something similar there'll be a lot more items listed than they actually sell. Closed on weekends.

I've been visiting this place quite often in the past three years and it never disappointed. Good food, healthy, friendly people and good prices. Highly recommended if you're looking for a home cooked meal while you're out.
