“I visited the cafe 3 mornings in a row and was greeted by a friendly man, Emre. He prepared the food fast and to a great standard. We also had a nice conversation. I would 100% recommend The Village Cafe because of Emre.”

“I like coming here as there is always somewhere comfortable to sit. On a Sunday afternoon ir is only Costa in Slough which serves quick and has space to sit.”

“Dropped in for coffee and cake following a walk around the lake. Staff were polite and chatty. Place is very clean, both inside and out on the terrace where we sat to watch the world go by.
Good view of the lake, also had a buzzard pass overhead whilst we sat eating the cake.
The also do more substantial meals, that looked good, but didn't try.
Good coffee, great location, staff that seem content all add up to a great experience”

“Fits the purpose if you don't own printers or photocopiers. Guys behind the counter are helpful.”
“Ever since the young lady started working and taking orders, everything has been so slow. When I received my coffee it was very cold and unpresentable. She doesn’t speak English well and when I asked her to reheat my coffee as it came cold she shrugged and walked away. I assumed she didn’t understand, I mean I hope so as that was very rude. I love this place but I don’t like the new staff. I’ll still be coming back in the future as I enjoy this cafè and this is the first problem I’ve had in the 2 years of me coming here.”
