Absolutely fantastic! The aromatic salmon is easily the best thing I've eaten in ages. The miso soup was also superb. The house white wine is light and refreshing. Would be very easy to sink a bottle without even realising. Great service too. I wouldn't bother eating anywhere else in Slough to be honest.

Loved it here, quiet cold wednesday evening and wasn't sure where to go. This place was pointed out to me as being nearby and nice and it was. Teriyaki chicken skewers, followed by tuna katsu curry, all with an Asahi. Lovely little restaurant and the staff were great ??

So I've been a little selfish and kept this place to myself in the 10 months I've been working in Slough. Usually once a week to break the monotony I treat myself to dinner at Mori. I find that Slough doesn't offer much variety so Japanese food is a real palate cleanswer and injection of much needed healthy food.Using today as an example and unfortunately my last week in Slough I opted to eat the Kimuchi as a starter which is a fermented cabbage with spices similar to Kimchi from Korea. It has complex flavours, tolerable spice levels, a real satisfying mouthfeel and amazing ability to satify a desire that only fermented foods can. It's so healthy and god for the gut. I followed this with the tempura soft shell crab which is delicious, fresh and not at all greasy. The dip is delightful and the salad garnish very tasty. I followed up with a main of sashimi which consisted or beautifully sweet prawns, bluefin tuna, salmon and seabass. Each fish was fresh and distinct in it's own subtle flavour. The waiter is the same person from all 6-7 visits I've ever made. He's a real gentleman and a credit to the restaurant. I've witnessed him deal with a busy setting and always manage to be attentive and caring to all customers and on one ocassion a couple of weeks ago he even handled a rude customer with grace. Again, what a credit to the establishment. The atmosphere overall feels authentic and I really love the kitchen. The chef is friendly however very busy. If he catches your eye he'll aknowledge you which is nice. The drinks are good. Usually I get a Coke Zero but in the past have had excellent Sake. The offerings I believe are inkeeping to the food selection. Try the plum wine.So there it is. My secret spot is shared for those interested. For me it is hands down the best spot to eat in Slough and perhaps my saving grace at times where the humdrum eat work sleep needed some stimulation.I wish this place very well and will miss it.Thanks for the great meals you served me.

First review ever. Seems like the call handler and the cook did not bother at all. I ordered Prawn Chahan just received and this is what came. So disappointing. I always recommend Mori to anyone I know stating how tasty their dishes are and the best in town. This Prawn Chahan was not the first disappointing dish. I don’t make reviews at all but the way my call was handled was what made me make this review. I know i can just add sesame seeds and spring onions in this dish but they should come as was ordered and paid for. It tasted plain and bland but just a bit of soy sauce in it. I have ordered this dish before and it was a delicious serve but today was just Nada. I called and explained the order i received but some guy just said thank you for the review. I mentioned to please inform your chef/cook and I was answered with blunt affect monotonous tone yes i will mention to cook. Nada. I am not asking for refund or another order but i hoped the other line could have handled my call a bit humanely.

We were looking for a place to eat near the hotel we stayed after a day in Legoland. This place is very close to the hotel and it has brilliant reviews from trip advisor so we went. When we turn up at 7pm without a reservation, they inform us there would be a table available at 8pm. As we all really want some Japanese food we decided to come back for the table. A table finally available. We were so hungry that we order the food immediately. However, we have been waiting for like an hour for the food. We have young children with us. We have been asking water several times and it had been ignored. We have a toddler in our group who is very sensitive to black pepper so we specifically ask to not put black pepper in her food. This request had been ignored and when we serve the food to the toddler, she was crying her eyeballs out!!! When we informed the server, there is no apologies from her. The sever was not accommodating for the whole process. At the end of the meal the bill came and they put a service charge at the bill. We asked to remove the service charge, and they did not even bother to ask why we want to remove it. Awful! Awful! Awful!

Cute lil place in the middle of Slough. Pleasant ambience, graat speedy service and prices weren't too bad for being so close to London.
