Furious is a understatement. The original Stobys should have took their name with them it's so misleading. Me and my dad spat out the chips and threw them away. Couldn't cut through the Pie and the list goes on. They should be ashmed of themselves.

Not what it used to be. Used to be a decent fish and chips place but the food here is now average. Battter seems different and bland. Last couple of times now the fish seemed under cooked also. We also tried their doner kebab.....honestly say that one was way under par and for what they charge l would have expected better. Will try elsewhere from now on.

hey , food of stoby fish and chips is very tasty as well as price is also resonable as compare to other shops near them . Apart from this staff of this shop is very friendly. I recommend please come on this shop and take the taste of this shop.

Ordered 2 large chips , got home and they were absolutely disgusting chewy and hard in places . Definitely not fresh. Will not be going here again. The old owners were amazing. The chips today tasted refried or sitting in the holding cabinet for way to long. Horrible.

Terrible.. food gave me and family a bad tummy.. ordered battered sausages and saveloys.. called up and they put the phone down on me twice.. I kept calling but they would not pick up the phone.. the person I spoke to wouldn't give me his name.. stay clear.. you habe been warned..

If I could give zero stars I would have had to airfry the sausages in batter as not cooked properly plenty of under cooked and soggy chips definitely not going there
Previous owners were great and really cared about quality and quantity. The portions are now ridiculously small and it literally feels like you are paying for overpriced grease! The cod bites are half the size and the curry sauce doesn’t taste like proper chip shop sauce.

Have been using Stobys takeaway for years! Their fish & chips have always been great. Chips portion sizes are really generous. Place itself seems quiet but can get busy. I know there's been alot of reviews where people aren't happy, maybe I've just been lucky as we've always had good food from there.Parking: Parking is limited as there are other shops on the same row & across the road

Used to get the best chips in Slough from here when the parents was running shop. But the last 5 times I've come here since covid, the chips have been horrible there cooked in old oil there dry & warm not hot. Although we ask assistant please can we get fresh chips the chips have been horrible. Soon as you walk in u can smell old oil. I have given this place enough chances to improve but I will now be going elsewhere.
