We found this beautiful pub last Summer and knew straight away that we had found somewhere special and that we would return. The Pub is beautiful inside and out, the staff despite being very busy are warm and welcoming. Lunch yesterday was top notch, sea food starter incredible and the sea food main the same. Hard to beat, you won’t be disappointed.

Fantastic countryside pub. Lovely atmosphere and good service. The food was very tasty and nicely presented. At one point the chef would come out and touch every table to see if everything was ok.... don't see this very often nowadays.

We loved this place, all the staff were so friendly, the service was perfect and the roast beef was the absolute best! We even spotted a local celebrity. We will definitely be going back again very soon!

Blackwood arms never disappoints, food is amazing and my son says the fish and chips is the best out of all the ones he has tried....Mr Kerridge could learn a thing or two from their servings, the only thing I would say is if you don't like your veg al dente on the Sunday roasts ask for it to be done for a couple of minutes longer.

What a lovely welcome after a freezing cold walk through Burnham beeches, woodfires roaring,mulled wine to warm up,very good sausages and mash,good portions too, dog and owners very well cared for in rustic old fashioned atmosphere. Loved it.

Have been coming here for many years with family, friends and dogs. Have seen a few changes over those years but for some time now it's been exactly what you wish for from a country pub and the place we know and love. Food and drink fab, atmosphere wonderful and we've always found the staff to be the best, helpful and friendly. Our kids who have celebrated birthdays, exam results and other milestones here have now variously moved abroad and far away but look forward to their visits when they come home. The welcome, kindness and consideration our older relatives receive when they visit deserves a particular mention. Thank you for so many lovely memories - hope for more to come!
