Always used to love subway, but it’s got such bad quality that this time I literally spat the food out, the chicken was slimey & like nothing I’ve ever tasted, the bacon was all fat & gristle, the salad was over & the bread turned to dust when biting in it. Sadly probably my last ever subway.. they’ve cut costs just too much now.Parking: 3 parallel parking bays that are very small, and you can only exit one side of the car when parked.

We've had a couple of terrible experiences in this Subway. A while ago my husband (who has a nut allergy) asked for a white chocolate cookie (which he had had numerous times before), started eating it and found that it had nuts in it! Thankfully he was ok, because it turns out it was macadamia nuts. If it had been hazelnuts or peanuts this would have been a very different story. He had already told them he had a nut allergy, there was no signage to say this cookie had nuts in, and when he asked for the "white chocolate" cookie no one said that it was actually a macadamia cookie.Finally, the last (and final) time we went in there we were served, got some cookies that were on offer, and as we left the girl who served us made pig noises, and started laughing with the boy in the back. Presumably insinuating we had been greedy by ordering a sub and some cookies? Absolutely disgusting and incredibly immature behaviour, and if someone is that judgemental then they definitely shouldn't be working in such an environment.

Best subway I have been to, staff do a proper job of their subs and take a lot of care and skill to prepare them which is more then I can say for others.

Today I went to the Thatcham subway which I do every Sunday for breakfast.Today was a whole new experience and one I will not be going back for.Firstly the guy that took my order did not pay any attention and when I said I have a dairy allergy he still asked if I would like cheese!While he picked it up with his gloves that he was making my food with.He continued to make my meal with the same gloves even after I said this to him!!!He then went on to straighten up the knocked over muffins with the same gloves.When i went to the till he was extremely rude. I told him about the gloves and asked when the manager would be in so I could speak with them.He then went on to tell me and shock me that he was the manager.I am a regular customer there and I can honestly say I have never had service like this before.He didn’t seem to care about customer service or a severe allergy that could kill someone.It has completely shocks me that someone has put someone like him in charge of serving food!!I have reported this incident to the food hygiene service as he seemed to have no knowledge or care about food allergy’s and putting peoples lives at risk.I certainly will not be going there again and risking my life.
