I came across this little gem of a pub by chance as I went along to see a band that I like. The pub is definitely a locals pub, and the locals were all very friendly and chatty. The landlady was very welcoming and they had a great variety of drinks. It has a lovely outside seating area of which some is under cover. I will definitely re visit this pub.

I went along with friends to play Skittles out the back there. The parking isn't ideal but the skittles was really good and the buffet excellent. We were challenged to finish it all but we could not. There was so much and it was all brilliant.

Good beer, good company. First time here. My brother picked it as a venue to celebrate my dad’s birthday. There was live music from Ukay Ukes, which obviously explained the standing room only situation. Everyone was really friendly and made us feel not only welcome, but quite at home. The Ukay Ukes were superb, I’ve seen them once before, but forgot how good they are, taking popular songs from the 1950s through to contemporary music and applying their own style. Quite unique and highly entertaining, the place was hopping.

Good friendly, village pub with decent relatively cheap beer.
