Best steak I can remember having. Perfect smokey char on the outside and cooked to perfection. The prawn starter was superb and really set me up for the main. The sides of chunky chips and greens were perfectly cooked and seasoned. The staff are superb and always on hand without being up in your face. Everyone at our table had a great evening

We popped into the Greene Oak on our way back to Windsor. The food was excellent, as was the service, very polite and aimable. Starters; the roasted beetroot and the mackerel, main: fish and chips (big portions) and roast chicken which was succulent. I indulged in a vanilla cheesecake which was divine..it came in a double layered cup.For a Monday lunch time there were several people there. The garden looks lovely so I can't wait to try it out again in Summer, although I may go back earlier. Also I like the fact that the discretionary service charge was not included automatically .We did tip though. I have no hesitation in recommending this lovely pub.

Normally we go to the restaurant and it’s always amazing, this weekend we ordered take away and again it has been fantastic, very authentic food delivery was on time and piping hot - Great place will definitely return and can highly recommend it !

Really enjoyable dinner at Browns in Windsor. Excellent food and service, shout out to Tony and Magdalena for being so charming and efficient. Told Magdalena it was a birthday celebration for two of us and we received a surprise birthday dessert which was delicious. The new menu is very tasty, highly recommend the courgette fritters. Definitely will be going again.

First time here.Food was extremely goodI had the ravioli with spinach and ricotta in sage butter sauce such a delicate delicious dish ?Lots of choice!!Very attentive service!It's a lovely traditional style restaurant but we had a strange table facing the window so we had our backs to the restaurant and were sitting next to eachother I wasn't keen. But definitely look at visiting again soon to try more dishes!

We had a lovely welcome for a birthday party. The food was very good with an extensive menu. The chef came out to talk to us about the menu and he checked on our progress during the meal.Be careful that the extras quickly add up as they charge per poppadom and for the chutneys etc.Parking: Parking is a little challenging outside the restaurant as the space are only for 20 minutes but the restaurant assured us there was no issue parking there at night.

A really cool, local pub in summer. When we were there in July 2022, there was a pizza food truck in front of the courtyard entrance. The pizza there was very tasty and we were even allowed to take it inside. After visiting Windsor Castle it was good to come here. You should definitely combine your London vacation with a trip to Windsor.

Had a great Friday lunch here, took some friends, including a strict vegetarian.The snacks and main courses absolutely lovely, everyone agreed the food was great. Three of us had the burger, which was one of the best we have tasted. I came across this little gem of a pub by chance as I went along to see a band that I like. The pub is definitely a locals pub, and the locals were all very friendly and chatty. The landlady was very welcoming and they had a great variety of drinks. It has a lovely outside seating area of which some is under cover. I will definitely re visit this pub.

This is my families' go to place for celebrations! The staff and owner are absolutely fantastic - so friendly, authentic and helpful. The food is always of a high standard and the team are happy to help you pick out something new that you will like. There's music and dancing at weekends in the evening and its just generally a really fun atmosphere. Great for families!

Amazing! The decor is authentic, the food is delicious and the people are very friendly. Had the best chicken tagine, couscous and kofta. They even have a well-thought kids menu (not the usual nuggets and chips you find everywhere). The orange juice was really freshly juiced, and the desserts and mint tea were amazing. I'd love to go again when in Windsor.

We have been meaning to try this place for a while and went yesterday with friends, wish we had done it sooner! The menu had a great mix of African & Caribbean dishes and we were all thoroughly impressed. I had the tilapia (which was huge) with jollof rice & plantain, it was delicious, not too spicy, totally fresh and cooked to perfection. My other half had the jerk chicken (which is what I’ll get next time) the sauce it came with was amazing. Our friends had jerk chicken and the harvest chicken. We will all go again, the list of sides looks great but as the main courses are so generous, we may share a main in order to try the side dishes.I thoroughly recommend this restaurant, many are struggling right now and if you can support this brilliant independent talented team, please do.

This is a highly recommend place for meat eaters and fine dining at Windsor. Quite close to the castle as a walk. Ambience is good and well maintained.We ordered steaks, lamb, seafood and couple of starters. This was paired with red wine. Every meal was delicious and well presented.Service was also very good and prompt, overall loved the experience and highly recommend a visit for a date night or outing with office colleagues.Definitely recommend the crème bulee for dessert.
