A meet up with some friends from over 40 years. Great to have a catchup. Reminiscing on old times past and precent. Bar staff were great ? We will have to do it again with more of us next time. ?Parking: Think there was 5 parking spots in total but there is ample on road parking and parking bays outside shops opposite.

Would helps if this pub actually served food as indicated on their website and Tripadvisor. Apparently they have not served food for a long time. A shame as it I was looking forward to a nice Thai meal.

James is always a lovely landlord and host whenever I meet friends here for a drink when I’m down from the midlands.
The barman Joe (I think it's Joe, sorry if not, I was a few cold drinks in!) is a legend, absolutely instills your evening with warmth and good humour. The pub decor is pretty basic but there's a fire and a great selection at the bar. Was in there with two old friends and we had a splendid evening. Will be there again next year.

Lovely local pub, sells a wide range of beers and 2 ales. James the manager is always welcoming and there is even a monthly quiz night. Definitely worth popping in for a pint or 2!
