As it was closed for a long time due to renovations, we decided to pop in for a cup of tea and a treat, however we were very disappointed. We had to wait for a very long time, staff was not of the nicest, and served scone with no jam or clotted cream (had to request it). The décor is nice and the atmosphere decent, but feels like a tourist trap.

Nice atmosphere and the best food near the Windsor Castle

We have been so lucky to have a sunny day and stay outside, after we visited the castle. Friendly staff. We stay like max 10 min after closing time, we forgot how late was, and no one was rushing out. Definitely a return next time in Windsor.

We visited for my daughters baby shower today. We had our own area downstairs which has a lift if needed to get down. Everything tasted amazing, staff were very pleasant and helpful. Had a wonderful afternoon and thoroughly recommend. Thankyou

I booked Madam Posh for afternoon tea for my birthday, a few days before, on the day we were walking up & down trying to find it, but had to ask a passerby if they knew where it was, only for them to tell us it was a cafe with a piece of plastic hanging and a different name, on speaking to the owner they changed its name to Beth & Bluebell that day, but no mention of this when they sent an email to confirm booking (would have been helpful), it was nice but expensive for what you got, especially as they add on a compulsory service charge on top, which was frustrating as the service wasn’t great, got sat down and totally ignored by the waitresses, even the people sat near us said they had to wait ages to be served, despite hardly anyone in there, when we did eventually order they had no idea we had pre-booked for a birthday afternoon tea, when the food came out it was nice, but had to wait ages for our tea. We asked for more sandwiches & they came out together, on the Same plate, which wasn’t ideal as being a vegetarian, didn’t want to eat ones which had been placed next to meat, not a total disaster, but not quite the ‘posh’ experience we were expecting & wouldn’t go back in a hurry.

We visited this weekend, x4 adults.Where do I start...The service is utterly shocking.Shouted at to take a seat, no one came to use for near on 10 mins. (Only 3 other tables occupied) Young girl standing behind counter. We went to have a look at the food, as we assumes it was order at the counter. At this point we were told to sit down and given menus. We then waited a further 10 minutes to place our order. The coffee, all bar one were send back as they were tepid and had scum round the cups as theybhad been sat. The hot chips came to our table before the sliced cake....we had to ask 3 times for the water we ordered. The staff look bewildered at best, the young girl with copper hair is one of the rudest individuals i have ever encountered. The smartly dressed man and woman, looked more interested in boxing up food to take, than what was actually happening in their establishment. And certainly were not adhering to standard hygiene regulations....The decor needs doing up, and the floor looks terrible.... and the tables and glasses are dirty"posh" it is not

Now trading as Beth and bluebell. I stayed there with my wife and another couple in 2019 and we have still good memories of the old Madame Posh location. Back in time there were lush floral arrangements and comfortable sofas in muted tones, and the service was typically English, cultured and polite and professional. In 2019 there were freshly made canapés and beautifully decorated pastries and hot tea and coffee. It was extremely stylish and well attended. Today there is nothing left of the old charm: loud piano music from a flat screen TV, various wooden furniture in different colors, imitation marble - chairs and tables, Audrey Hepburn and Marilyn Monroe posters on the walls, a waiter who delivered the tea, forgot the sugar and the milk. The worst are the toasts and pastries! The toppings of the toasts are tasteless and incredibly thin! The little colorful cakes are completely covered in sugar. The serving stand/etagere was only half full and decorated without love and care! Our two different teas were lukewarm. My favorite tea (rooibus) was not available. The stairs to the lower toilet rooms were blocked with deliveries of goods (waterboddles). The restrooms themselves were not clean. My recommendation: don't go here! Go to The Ivy at number 31 High Street. PS: a complete Afternoon Tea: 25GBP/person

Elegant sophisticated yet famiky friendly restaurant. I have come several times to catch up with friends and really enjoy how comfortable the place is and spacious enough we can take our children there yet still have grownups food and conversations. We lastly had their afternoon tea which was delicious. I strongly recommend the place for visitors wanting to get a British experience of delicious breakfast or afternoon teas. I would also encourage licals to come in as a most hospitable place to meet up and catch up with friends.Kid-friendliness: Lots of space for buggies, kids menu and activities offered.

Chose this spot because paninis etc on counter looked tasty & we just wanted a light lunch. Staff were friendly but not the best service - it was one guy's first shift so will let him off the hook. Waited a long time for our very simple order of paninis. When these arrived it was a very basic serving of panini only, no garnish. One didn't arrive (despite double checking that waitress had taken order right) until the rest of the party had almost finished eating. We were offered a complimentary glass of prosecco (Mothers Day weekend) which was a nice touch but we really just wanted to be on our way. We did feel slightly pressured into accepting & drinking it.

We came for afternoon tea - food was not worth the price, drinks took forever to come, were cold and curdled! Our waitress was lovely, as were all staff however they were running around clearly unable to cope with the demand. She was clearly as upset as the customers. Clearly poor management !!

Food was cold. Egg yolks were anaemic Muffins still freezing cold in the middle, not toasted. Service attractions. Waitress not interested.

Went here for some Hot Chocolate and I must say the service, vibe of the shop and the decor inside were lovely. The hot chocolate itself was very nice and I would definitely go back here again. Also the pricing was very reasonable compared to other alternatives around.

Today I had a booking at 11:45 (email evidence i showed at the desk ) there was a horrendously rude man that greeted me and told me it’s my fault and he can’t sit me down because he can’t see me on the system . I have been coming to Madame posh for year and I also filmed a few episodes of a itv show and absolutely loved coming to Madame posh . The young girl at the desk was embarrassed and she was trying to do the best she can looking around trying to find us a seat but unfortunately he did not want to help us.. I have never been spoke To so badly . And as a local bsusiness owner I will never recommend or come back .. totally disappointed Today . Such a shame

We popped in for a late lunch today and I have to say it was disappointing on many levels. Firstly, we ordered: a bowl of soup, a ciabatta, a coke, a sparkling water, and two slices of cake - the total bill came to £37.18! The food was okay but it certainly didn't justify the prices charged. Also, the waiter delivered my ciabatta to the table and then my wife had to wait over ten minutes for her soup - when I suggested lunch to my wife, I presumed we'd eat together. The place wasn't exactly busy either, so there was no excuse for the long delay between serving a ciabatta and a bowl of soup. The final issue was with the bill. It was only after I left that I realised they added a 10% 'optional' service charge. I feel cheated that it was added to the bill without anyone asking if we were happy with the service - we weren't.Sorry, but I can't recommend Madame Posh.
