I’ve been to patch a couple of times (today was for the roast) and I’m always blown away with the quality of the food and service! Their Bloody Mary is the best I’ve had and all the dishes we ordered from the roast options were amazing. Would highly recommend!

I searched and searched for a place to meet our daughter for Sunday lunch to celebrate her birthday. Patch on the Plaza kept coming up but we were worried as it is a covered outside terrace. In the end, we were won over by the great reviews and booked a table for four. The restaurant is tucked in behind the station away from the hubbub of the tourist areas with plenty of car parks nearby. The staff and food were excellent and I needn’t have worried about being cold as there are plenty of heaters and blankets available should you need them. The setting was so relaxing with music to add to the chilled Sunday vibe. The staff couldn’t do enough for us and we thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon at Patch on the Plaza. Thank you for making it so special, we will be back.

The price definitely doesn’t match the quality and size of the portions.You order a pork ribeye for two people and you receive 4 ordinary fillets of a rare pork - unacceptable.They explain that that’s why they recommend you have to order at least 3 meats.This is absurd. So you sell a portion for two people, but they expect you to order more portions to have a full meal for two people. I believe is why their are name “patch”, because you have to patch your order to have a proper meal.Outrageous. I’ll never put my feet in this place ever again.edit: I reviewed whilst I was still inside the place, and later a lady (manager?) came to our table to explain that the portions are for sharing. Ok, my review stays the same because I asked about this twice; once I asked the waitress if the prices separated by a slash were for one person / two people, and she confirmed. No mentions to be single or double portions instead 1 or 2 people. In the second time I asked to the other lady (manager?) to confirm if the portions they served us were for two people as I ordered and she confirmed, to which I said: sorry, this is not for two people and ordered an extra portion of potatoes. Again, not a single mention to not be portion instead people.As an extra, I told the waitress the pork was rare, to which she said “our dish is designed like that”. When I said they have a problem in the kitchen because only one fillet was rare and the other ones were not, she eyeball me. Of course is not a “design”.RidiculousTo finish, I didn’t hear any word “sorry” during my whole stay there.Btw - they charged me for “single portions” instead.. so I got confused: were they single all the time and they sold as double or was it an hidden and subtle apology?

It is a patch which usually you need mint shower gel for however looking at the boasting location of this business we can safely assume it was pushed out of business which is convenient along with screamo wackos who were able to job it finally.Very patch like people i must applaud.I miss the hand gestures girl , ive seen for long time that people would rather sleep their lives off and i will be 60 the same occurring so theres no shame in wasting the magic girl now rather than leave her be. I know i will be 60 and people will slyly think they got away with life being under the pillow of misery and sorry ness , the fact that i say this also shows how comfortable i am. So rather then beat the bush , amongst the acid people how dont even have relationships let alone lives.You know before all that its best to just say i dont want to waste her and i love her with or without. So im on my way there with the inevitable. Shes nice. Wheras the people see their failure in me.I hope she sees the fizzy drink through me.:) because i did this for ontop.

Just LOVE this place. I have no complaints at all - the vibe is spot on, the food is deeeelicious and the staff wonderful and welcoming. Yes it's outside but I have never been cold here even in the winter time. It's well worth a visity.

This was a fantastic find. We were skeptical when we booked that we might be cold but with the heaters and blankets we were not cold in the slightest. The food was amazing, the staff really helpful especially Niamh and the atmosphere incredible. It had all the ingredients for a great evening and would highly recommend it.

Love being able to try and share lots of amazing dishes and cocktails with friends in a cosy and well thought out space. Especially love the DJs on a Sunday!

The BEST food around. Atmosphere is on point, the vibe is amazing, the food is “chefs kiss” and the cocktails are unreal. Great place for a date night, catching up with a friend, girls night or bigger do with more friends. I love that it’s outside - which works so well in the summer and they make it seriously cosy in the colder months so you don’t event feel outside. Honestly can’t recommend this place enough.Kid-friendliness: Have also taken the kids in the day for lunch and there was space for the buggy!
