Good locals pub with good beer. Haven’t tried the food yet but the kitchen keeps seeking to change.

Visited Duke of Connaught recently to try out their new Mediterranean style menu and to have a pint or two. Wow! The food was great with excellent quality and variety to suit most tastes. The staff were helpful and friendly and the service was prompt even though the pub was quite full. The beer was spot on too with a good choice. This is a go-to venue for a drink, snack or full meal and to have a good time

Been drinking here for years, food and drink are always great and the staff are super friendly. Never too busy to accommodate us.

We went into this local pub on the off chance for some food, being 250 miles from home we did not know what to expect, although being in Windsor we were expecting a big bill.We entered the pub and the staff were immediately friendly, we began talking to the barmaid and she was so helpful. There were a few locals in having drinks and we ordered food. The food came pretty swiftly, cooked just right and tasted very good. We asked about the area what we could do with a 3 year old in the evening and the staff were very helpful. The atmosphere was great, chatter of the regulars and we were not disturbed at all. very cosy on the corner of a residential street with a beautiful heated outside garden area. The facilities were clean and we enjoyed our visit. Happily attend again if were in the area.

A really good, well established local pub that recently pivoted and changed its food offering.Clean, well spaced and laid out inside with a mix of privacy but the ability to " be the local",with the locals if you wish.Outside, there is a seating area ,with music and blankets. A real suntrap of a feature. The food is,quite simply, well above the norm for "pub grub" with some lovely sides (croquettes mwah!) and at 12 quid and change for a freshly made 12 inch pizza,in the sun, in Windsor ..I don't think you can complain.Good selection of beers, with Beaverton neck oil on tap and a funky selection of cocktails.Well done Dan and Vanessa and all the staff. Brilliant night outParking: If you know the area, there are a few little side streets you can park at, but you need to Be lucky and be prepared to walk a bit.

Nice little pub with friendly staff. Fairly standard drink selections but a good place to stop for a drink. Has a beer garden when not raining

You can always rely on the Duke. Open until 11pm, they serve first class Mediterranean small plates to choose from. A gem ? if you want something great, just out of town.
