Delicious roast dinner - generous portion but not too big, and extra gravy when requested :) we ate quite late, so there weren't many people there, but we enjoyed the roaring

An interesting, showy, traditional pub where it's sacrilege to order a cappuccino.I somehow felt as if we were disturbed!The food is in the form of sandwiches and, obviously, fish & chips.

We enjoyed Sunday dinner here. The size of the roast dinner was huge. It was really well prepared and we all enjoyed our meals . The service is friendly and it has good atmosphere on a chilly evening.

Sunday 10th Dec 2023, we went for a 6 miles walk though Windsor & Eton towns and along the River Thames tow paths on a windy drizzling rainy morning while looking forward to finishing our hike at the Windsor Castle pub to dry out, a bit of warmth, liquid refreshments and a bit of good food. Well, we were not disappointed, all of 4 of us, excluding the dog, had the Sunday roasts which where well presented, plentiful and superbly cooked served by very nice friendly staff too. Top marks. Definatley calling in again soon.......on a not so rainy day! Thanks Guys, Denis (UK & Dublin)
