I recently hit up this Thai joint, and let me tell you, it was off the charts! The food? Unreal. Seriously, I could eat their Pad Thai every day for the rest of forever. And the service? Top-notch, especially from the managers. They were on it like nobody's business. But here's the thing: a couple of the young waiters seemed more into their own convo than their job, which didn't scream professionalism. Still, overall, I'd go back in a heartbeat.

Food and atmosphere were great but the staff were a little slow to serve and we had to catch their attention every time (despite the restaurant being fairly empty). They also gave us our main meals without first clearing the starter plates.My meal wasn't as expensive as I had assumed it would be.

Wonderful place to eat, such a variety of food...we had massaman curry, cashew stir fry, sticky chicken and pad Thai. Every dish was delicious and we had really good service from Jessica. Only very minor bit is when the restaurant is busy it gets hard to hear each other! The service was top notch, attentive and communicative always checking we were ok.

Excellent first trip to Giggling Squid in Wokingham on Saturday night. Place was packed which gave it a great atmosphere. Did mean the service was slightly slower than we would have liked, but being picky, and definitely wouldn't have traded it for the good atmosphere. Food was delicious and will definitely be back!

Last minute Friday night booking. Delicious food!!!! Our waitress Sunny had excellent knowledge of the menu so able to advise us on dishes as we were struggling to choose, she was very friendly and funny which really made our night. We really enjoyed our visit here.Lunch came to about £35 excluding drinks and we were absolutely stuffed full.Friendly waiting staff.Lovely atmosphere.The food was excellent with just enough choice.For a chain restaurant - but having never been to a Giggling Squid restaurant - I can highly recommend.We will certainly be back.

Popped in for midweek dinner after our wedding to enjoy our honeymoon before heading back to work! The service was friendly and accommodating however the food this time let us down with our visit. Our starters didn’t have much flavour and our mains weren’t the best still membrane on the squid and was chewy and the fish tasted really fishy and chicken strips were too greasy and tasted like oil needed to be changed! Our visit wasn’t what we expected this time around but would happily book again in the future to try again as we love Thai food! At the time of our visit there was also a few bigger tables which were clearly getting more attention which we understand but need to remember the smaller tables too. The service we received was nice and the gent servicing us understood the issues with our food and generously took some money off the bill for us! We will return in a few months but not anytime soon!

We ordered 4 starters: Spring rolls, dumplings, salad and squid all were excellent though a little lukewarm. The main courses were Sea bass, red Thai chicken and duck. All were good portions, looking small but really filling all 3 were ordered with Jasmin rice. Delicious and recommended. The drinks could have been colder. I think they have not enough fridges. The service was excellent and friendly and funny. It was an enjoyable time. Highly recommended.
