Hamlet Bar Lounge & Restaurant
10 Streatham High Rd, LondonI recently had a private event at the Hamlet and it was fantastic. Perfect location and a really nice venue. We had the room downstairs which was just the right size and able to play our own music. There’s also a bar downstairs which is handy. Big shout out to Elsa and the rest of the team. They were great and super friendly. We will definitely be back.

11 Broad St, WokinghamI had a really lovely time at Zizzi with my family and friends. We were also given complimentary champagne as were celebrating a special occasion and it was very kind of the staff to do so. The food was amazing, I really enjoyed my seabass in particular. My only issue with it was that it didn't have enough salt on it but I was easily able to fix that myself and the other seasonings on it were perfect. The rest of the food including the dessert was also delicious and other members of our dinner party also enjoyed the meal. I had the chocolate brownie with ice cream for dessert and it tasted absolutely decadent - it very rich and filling.

428 Finchampstead Rd, Finchampstead, WokinghamMy fiancé and I attended with our 9 year old for a meal for my fiancés birthday. The service was brilliant, and we felt looked after from the moment we arrived until we left. The food quality was great and was served promptly.
They noticed it was his birthday and gave him a complimentary dessert and a shot. This was a lovely surprise and really thoughtful.
The staff overall were really friendly and took time out to speak to us.
Would 100% come back again!

Had a fantastic experience at Hamlet in Wokingham town centre! The ambiance is wonderful, but what truly made our visit exceptional was Cassie. She is the absolute star of this place, going above and beyond to accommodate our needs. Her friendly, attentive service made me feel right at home. It’s rare to find such a personal touch nowadays, and thanks to Cassie, I will definitely be visiting again. Highly recommend Hamlet for a great time!

I frequently visit the Sultan and they never fail to amaze. Well priced, and super fresh. For lunch we had the chilli and rice and the curry and rice, both were lovely. My partner enjoyed the real ale on offer too.
This is our local pub and the road currently runs through a construction site, which can mean a longer journey to reach it. This will improve in time and is well worth the visit. Thank you for a lovely visit.

118 Finchampstead Rd, WokinghamStopped in at this pub on the way home from the leisure centre in Wokingham and was genuinely impressed. I found out it’s no longer a Greene King and is now run as a franchise, and the improvement in both food quality and service is very noticeable.
They’re currently running a fantastic January offer with 33% off food Monday to Friday, which is great value and definitely worth taking advantage of.
I ordered a jacket potato with chilli and cheese, and it was absolutely spot on — perfectly cooked potato, generous topping, and the chilli con carne was full of flavour and tasted freshly made. My son went for the kids’ meal deal with 6 nuggets, chips, peas, and veg sticks, and he loved every bit of it. The portion was great for a kids’ meal and clearly well prepared.
The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, service was quick without feeling rushed, and everything arrived hot and well presented. Overall, the atmosphere, food quality, and level of service were excellent.
A really positive experience all round and a big improvement — we’ll definitely be returning and would happily recommend it.

London Rd, WokinghamHad a wonderful visit here for the sports, the roast dinners coming out of the kitchen looked amazing, so I grabbed myself a duo roast, beef and turkey. Steaming hot, and a great helping of potatoes and vegetables. Really good value for money. I will definitely be back, I have seen lots of deals on the app and in pub. The staff were really friendly, Lucy made sure everyone was comfortable with the volume for the sports. Maybe have found my new local.

Though the chilli garlic sauce of the prawns were delicious, the prawns could have been better with a tad bit more of cooking. The churros were so light and crispy and went really well with the dark chocolate sauce. Yum! I will come back to try some more, especially the black paella and the chicken fajitas as they looked nice on the other tables :)

They were super flavourful. Had pad keemao with prawns for my main. Just the perfect level of spice, cooked perfectly and full of flavour! London Rd, WokinghamWe live very close by to hotel and visit possible twice a month or more when weather is good! This venue really is a hidden gem! The views are fantastic! Mohammed,Pedro, Vikki and jazzy are always so so helpful! As are other bar staff...Food is ALWAYS cooked fresh and is piping hot,which I find is a rarity these days! I recommend the cheeseburger and hubbyblikes the Cesar salad! There is always a good selection of Beers on tap as well as a good choice of wines and gins! We really do love coming here!. Unfortunately due to change of management in the So called spa area I have cancelled my membership to the gym and pool, having been a member for several years. This will not stop us using the bar and restaurant as we absolutely love it here. Thanks guys.

The menu was varied with plenty of choice of lesser-known Italian traditional dishes, cooked with expertise and presented at high standards. My vegetable lasagna was, without any doubts, the best I've ever tried. My husband's tagliata was top quality. Desserts were also extremely delicious. I asked Angelo to amend one starter to make it vegetarian for me, and it was also fantastic.
The Wine List is very comprehensive and features very good producers, from small to highly rated - being in the wine industry this is also very important for us, too!
His attention to detail and customer service are top class too - personally chatting with all customers, he was super friendly and dedicated.
This is now our favourite Italian restaurant in the UK!

Carnival Field Leisure Park, Berkshire, WokinghamSince the refurbishment, Burger King has improved massively. The restaurant now feels fresh, modern, and welcoming, with brighter décor and a more comfortable layout that makes dining in a much better experience. Staff seem friendlier and more attentive, and service is noticeably quicker, even at busy times. The food also feels fresher and better prepared, with hotter burgers and crispier fries than before. Overall, the refurb hasn’t just changed the look, it’s raised the whole standard of the place. A huge improvement that makes Burger King a far more enjoyable option and definitely worth a return visit.

The owners are so warm and welcoming, super friendly and build rapport with regulars and newcomers like it's a breeze! The outdoor area is really lovely! This is a pub with heart, soul and a whole lot of character! The team are wonderful and community focused which we appreciate and we're glad to be a part of! Despite it being a busy Saturday AND me giving the wrong postcode by accident and sending the driver somewhere else the customer service was excellent throughout. Kind, caring, warm and communicative, couldn’t have been lovelier. I was hoping the food would match, and I wasn’t disappointed. Iffy thee in a gorgeous pomegranate raita for us which was absolutely delicious with our poppadoms. I had the king prawn green which was flavoursome, fresh and an all round great choice. I couldn’t fault it. The chicken danazak the same - melt in the mouth and full of flavour. Pershwari naan was perfect- sweet, fluffy, gorgeous. This is a rare find and we are so happy we did! We will are 100% new loyal customer. Great good, great service, couldn’t recommend it higher. A lovely experience.

I ordered a jacket potato with chilli and cheese, and it was absolutely spot on — perfectly cooked potato, generous topping, and the chilli con carne was full of flavour and tasted freshly made. My son went for the kids’ meal deal with 6 nuggets, chips, peas, and veg sticks, and he loved every bit of it. The portion was great for a kids’ meal and clearly well prepared.
The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, service was quick without feeling rushed, and everything arrived hot and well presented. Overall, the atmosphere, food quality, and level of service were excellent.
A really positive experience all round and a big improvement — we’ll definitely be returning and would happily recommend it.
