Prices inside and outside are different. Ok I agree with this. But today, after paying for the sandwich (inside), I asked to heat it up, to which the Gregs employees told me that I had to pay extra to heat it up. They canceled my transaction (for which I did not get my money back) and I paid again. There was no longer any desire to eat. I won't come again. They will soon take money for entry

They have moved and there is no really obvious signage on the old place. they are only a few hundred meters around the corner now. Went to the new place and when we first got inside there was a few people putting back their stuff and going. we chose our lunch and were about to que when a lady customer who had just got to the front announced that they dont take card. cash only. half the shop put thier stuff back and left. the staff could simply have put a sign up rather than wasting everyones time and not have had a load of irritated customers. There isnt anything magic about being thoughtful and decent to customers but it does make a world of difference

The staff were overly nice to me the food was warm which is good the food is not that expensive roughly £3 for a drink sausage roll and a doughnut.

Used to be a regular customer at their old location in Wokingham where the service was top notch - big shout out to Sandra for this!\\n\\nNew location has a wider variety of food, seating area but the service is not anywhere near where it used to be. Slow, wrong orders and no knowledge of existing offers - can be expected in the first few days of opening a new location but not this far on. Such a shame.

The Greggs in central Wokingham has moved to Peach Street as of 26 November 2022 and the old shop in Broad Street has closed. The new store is about twice as big as the last one and has a good sized seating area. Located on Peach Street near to Waterstones it will provide good competition to the many coffee shops and bakeries in the area.

The New Greggs in Wokingham in peach Street has 10 seats, but they do not provide the toilet. This is against the rules According to section 20 of the 1976 Local Government Miscellaneous Provisions Act, takeaways with more than 10 seats must provide a customer toilet. Why haven’t you got a toilet you have 10 seats what is the point of coming to your shop drinking something needing the toilet and then having to go over to Nero coffee to get a toilet? It is not that hard to make sure only customers use the toilet by only allowing them in if they have an up-to-date receipt that they have bought something in the shop I expect customers to drink something and then not need the toilet I would like to hear from you.

I'd be happier if they would have pizza in the morning...

Asked if the sausage cheese and bean was hot as lots of items had just been taken out of the oven. Member of staff said yes but when I got into the office to eat it just across the road it was just luke warm. Having a stinking cold and shivers I needed something to warm me up !!!

I’m new to greggs, always been a bit suspicious of the quality when things are so cheap but I stand corrected. Lovely bacon roll and a chocolate eclair what more could you ask for on a Sunday morning. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The lady working this morning was amazing sorry I didn’t get your name. Very knowledgeable on products! So friendly, great customer service 10/10⭐️

Great place to grab a sandwich and coffee on the go

Just made the mistake of buying vegetable and beef pasty and a pizza slice, well how to do this review without being rude, the pizza was thick and dry, virtually tasteless, the pasty it was awful, hardly any meat, completely tasteless with no seasoning and don’t know what to say, but don’t make the mistake I made by going there and buying something?

Food tasted good, the choice of food could have been a lot better

Staff are very rude and speak to you like s**t, very argumentative and accuse you of shop lifting when the items being purchased are right under their nose at the till! Think a customer service refresher course is needed, thats if they've ever atteneded one to start with or at least employ staff who actually want a job.
