Stopped off at the Gig House for the 1st time as me and my wife fancied some food, Sunday afternoon, 6 people in + some children (not busy), bar staff was friendly, ordered 2 burgers and drinks, 50 minutes later the burgers came (ridiculous amount of time) since the venue was empty, not only that but the food was just say warm, Green chilli burger was nice but could of been hot, however the garlic cheese burger my wife had was cold, fatty and chewy with grissle bits, chips were not great, leaving my wife to lose her appetite. As a former chef in an Italian restaurant i would say if your going to serve food at least serve it within an appropriate time frame and piping hot, also a courtesy check with the customers is always nice to see if everything is ok, which we never received. We will not be returning.

Came in on a Sunday afternoon with my husband. Place had about 5 people in if I count the kids with the parents. Ordered green chili burger and confit garlic burger. Waited for over 45 minutes for the food to come nearly cold, burger meat burned outside and very chewy. Chips overdone. Only good thing about the burger was the bun and the garlic sauce. Only if you are drunk and unaware of what you are eating then I would recommend you come in here for a meal, otherwise it's a NO from me. Definitely not worth the price.AND DO keep the men's toilets door closed as it reaks of urine in the main area going into women's.

Very good. Perfect if you have kids. It has a small soft play in the back so you can have a drink while the kids play.

An interesting place, great to keep young children entertained with a soft play and toy corner. Food is not great quality though, particularly for the price. Was advised it was cheap and was recommended, but shared starter, 2x burgers and a kids fish fingers and chips was over £60 which given the quality didn't feel good value.

Family friendly with the soft play and a small area for little ones. My child always requests to come here as she enjoys playing and the kids breakfast. I've tried a couple of the burgers from the menu and found the confit garlic and this time the chilli cheese to be really good. I asked if they had a non-alcoholic kopparberg which they did not but the barmaid was able to direct me to a reasonable alternative.Kid-friendliness: A small soft play and another corner for little ones. Kids food, cutlery and high chairs available.

I went for a burger on Sunday with some mates. The sun was out and there was a great atmosphere. I always love the food here! Service is super quick too!

Perfect for families, great food selection and very quick service. Lots of seating inside and out the front. Soft play inside for children. The toilets are upstairs with a big window on the landing that looks over the whole inside of the pub.
