Perfect in every way!Not only is The Rose Inn a great place for drinks, breakfast, lunch or dinner with a fab atmosphere and delicious food, they are also fantastic at hosting events!!I recently held a surprise party in the Oak Room and the team at the Rose are by far the best hospitality team I’ve ever dealt with. The whole team are brilliant and not only do their jobs fantastically well, they are friendly and welcoming.

I booked the festive lunch for 26 and pre-ordered the drinks. Service was amazing as was food. Great atmosphere in the restaurant. We had a couple of drinks in the bar afterwards too.

We , as a large group went for our Christmas party to the lovely Rose We couldn’t have had a better time all round .. from the seamless & efficient pre ordering for a large group to the final warm & genuine farewell our whole experience was Amazing We were greeted by our fabulous host William who couldn’t have done more for us . He is the ultimate professional & such a charismatic front of house character with wonderful charm . . We were looked after by the lovely Larissa who was so attentive & we all commented on the fabulous staff & delicious food . We all had the festive menu .. & clean plates all round . No mass catering here , every dish was super tasty & I had the Christmas dinner & & the delicious cheesecake & it was scrumptious We wouldn’t hesitate in recommending the Rose . We have visited several times before & been looked after by the equally charismatic Front of house host Michael , who is just amazing too . We will DEFINITELY be returning ???????

Lovely pub with warm friendly staff. Very generous portion sizes so be aware, the cauliflower cheese was meant to be shared. It did take quite a while to place an order for drinks and food, in fact we had to ask the waiter if he would take our order. Other than that, the food was served hot. There were a few gluten-free options but not a huge amount. If I hadn't wanted a roast I would have been stuck for something to eat.

Dont miss. A True gem. This is worth a trip to Wokingham in itself. Sitting by the fire enjoying a cider and eggs Benedict. Service impeccable. Food great. Atmosphere 12 out of 5. Really unbeatable. And reasonable pricing.
I have been here a few times recently and have enjoyed the various visits. Usually I come at lunchtime but yesterday was for dinner. Food was good. I appreciate that changes can be made to accommodate allergies, intolerances etc. The specials menu is always worth a browse. Quite a good wine selection. Service can sometimes be slow. Generally the waiting team know the menu well and can give good advice but occasionally there is room for improvement in several areas. All the management team are very good and welcoming and friendly. A special shout out to Sara (who wasn't working yesterday evening but was on the previous occasion!) - she is an asset to the team

We visited The Rose Inn for the first time on Sunday. It was so busy, so we knew we must be onto a winner! It did take some time for our drinks & then food order to be taken, but it was understandable as it was so busy. The waiting staff were doing an amazing job. Our waitress was just lovely. I think her name was Josie. She was so helpful and friendly. The food was delicious too! We enjoyed our first time there so much that we have booked again in a few weeks time! Thank you Josie for helping to make our first time so lovely :)

i have been a professional medium for around 5 years now and while the pub was clean i am VERY sensitive to all of the energy forces that surround us. When i was sitting at my table i was ASSULTED by the dark energy radiating from the woman sitting across from me.

This is a lovely building with a great ambiance. Drinks are nice, expensive but that's Wokingham for you.We ordered roast dinner, this was served around 8pm. Porchetta portion was tiny and not crisp at all, meat loaf special was tasty. Roast potatoes were absolutely dreadful, old and tasted horrible. We sent them back and were advised that they were renewed at 3pm, that's 5 hours ago, each meal was £20. 5 hours old roast potatoes shouldn't be served to anyone, but when you're paying £20 you really expect better. Cauliflower cheese was pretty tasteless and pigs in blankets were only just cooked.The waiter was very good and gave us a free glass of wine each. We were sat in the bar so had already paid up front, but if we were paying following eating we would have expected a 50% discount as the food was not up to scratch.Such a shame.We will come for drinks again, but avoid eating.

Visited The Rose Inn for the first time today. We were visiting friends who live in Wokingham. It was an excellent experience, the food was very good and the service provided by Eurimel was attentive but not suffocating. Sitting in the area with booth seating made it very cosy.
