No complaints about the food but I really don't like businesses that add a service charge. In the small print it's voluntary but I was not asked, it had automatically been added. I did pay it but I'm unlikely to return because of it.
In Bristol for Christmas shopping with my daughters and sister. Went to The Coal Kitchen for lunch. A warm and welcoming reception from the staff. Seated quickly. A lovely restaurant with a great atmosphere. Staff were attentive and friendly. Food was freshly prepared and well worth the wait - wait was about average time for a Saturday 5 weeks before Christmas. Food was superb and very good quality. We booked the bottomless brunch as part of our Xmas shopping trip. Plenty of choice on the menu. Food was delicious, drinks were lovely and the service was superb. Would definitely recommend.
