Well - not been to The Haynes for such a long time - why! These fish and chips are still the best around. You have to go a long way to find a fish and chip restaurant cooking in Beef Dripping - OK not a vegan style but hey we are entitled to have at least one traditional ‘Chippy’. The Cod was moist and as fresh as it comes and the chips were cooked to perfection. Lovely F&C, freshly prepared, served by really friendly and efficient staff although I think the elder gentleman may be the owner!.Lovely to eat in, nothing to much trouble and licenced to sell wines and beer.. Great and reasonably

Easy the very best Fish and Chips in Watford, massive portion of chips, they don’t double or triple dip the fish, like most fish shops in Watford!!! So you get a massive bit of Cod…. Well worth the money, keep it up Haines Fish Bar, we will highly recommend you as the No1 fish and chips in Watford and surrounding areas 5 ***** All the way
